Chapter 15 (Final)

Zhu rushes to help her husband to prepare the dine table in their house. Soon, their family members will come and have a family gathering in their house. Their children are playing in the living room, ignoring their busy parents in the kitchen. But still their parents keep looking on them at there especially for the youngest that only a year old.

''Darling, can you finish the remaining preparation on the dine table? I need to wash our son's poop,'' Zhu requested as she got the youngest children from the living room when that boy is crying for the pooping.

''Alright, babe! And don't forget to call jiejie and gege after you washed him. I wonder for why did they are still not arrived yet. They said they will arrive at 12 pm but now already 1 o'clock and they are not here yet,'' Yezhun whined as he requested.

''Okay, darling! I will call them after this,'' Zhu replied.

The said peoples are still arguing at home in the other town. Zhao Yunlan keeps explaining about his sudden meeting with the superior made Shen Wei mad more to him. Why not when Shen Wei kept asking him to quit the job in SID and take over the Zhao Holdings from Mr. Zhao but Zhao Yunlan still rejected. Now it's been three years from the day of Zhu Jiu was arrested by the SID.

Day by days Shen Wei kept asking Zhao Yunlan to change the career from the policeman in SID to the CEO in Zhao Holdings. But Zhao Yunlan is Zhao Yunlan. He never change his mind to change his career to be a businessman like his dad. He loves his current career as a police in SID.

''Alright! You continue with your SID work and leave me with my kids! I don't want to see you in this house now! You love your SID work more than me and your kids. Now, I am pregnant for your second twin children. My life and our kids are on the stake for your job now. We feel insecure now to live in this house when everyday we saw someone is looking to us. We can't live peacefully like this, Ah Lan. We want a peace in our lifes! I even was left for your overtime work for almost everyday. What if I delivered these babies without you accompany me once again because of your SID work, Ah Lan?!'' Shen Wei whined with her scold while rubbing her pregnancy belly that now already seven months old.

''Xiao Wei, you need to understand my work too. I am a police. Of course there is someone who observing on me and my family...''

''You knew that but still you let us to live in a scare heart everyday. Where is Zhao Yunlan that I know before I got all my lost memories? Zhao Yunlan swallows hard to hear those words. Like a movie, those old memories come back to Zhao Yunlan's mind. With those words mentioned by Shen Wei, now he realized that he already neglected his wife and children because of his work in SID. He loves his wife and children but his work in SID is like hell now. He knows that but still he didn't think of the hearts of his wife and the children. Zhao Yunlan sighs to realize it now. He slowly walks closer to his wife that still mad at him and he embraces her with his love.

''I am sorry, Xiao Wei that I neglected you and our children for these years. I am sorry I didn't realize my mistake to neglect you for this time. Xiao Wei, I promise you with my life that I will take the offer from dad to take over our Zhao Holdings after I finished with this case. I promise you I will accompany you in the labor room when you deliver these babies soon. I promise you I will not neglect you and our children anymore. I am sorry, Xiao Wei for what I did for these years,'' Zhao Yunlan apologized while tightening the embrace on his wife that now crying on his chest.
