BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! "What the" BEEP! "Ugh not again!" My alarm was set for today but I forgot to turn it off last night. So I woke up nicely at 6:30 am. Most people would have gone back to sleep but I can't sleep after I've woken up. So I headed for the shower, allowing the hot water to trickle down my back. I washed my hair for no reason and changed into a fluffy white robe.

I decided to go out today and do something for myself for once. So I took my time drying and straightening my hair while listening to some classic rock. I pushed my hair back and applied some nude eye makeup and clear lip gloss. I don't like going out 'cake faced' so I usually keep it to a minimum. I chose a grey and black long sleeve striped dress that stopped at my knees and hugged my waist. I'm not really comfortable with my body but I like these type of dresses. I wore leggings underneath and a pair of combat boots. I grabbed my black cardigan and phone and made my way to the front door.

I quickly fed the dogs and grabbed my keys from the bench. I drove to the shopping centre and picked up some coffee on the way. Traffic wasn't an issue for me today, I guess because it was a lot earlier so I got there before it opened. I turned on the radio and listened to Neil Mitchell for a while, sipping my coffee and enjoying the heat coming from the car. It wasn't a particularly cold day, I just am always cold no matter where I am.

After watching the grass grow for nearly an hour, finally the shops opened and I got out. I started with my grocery shopping and put it away in the car. I began walking back when my phone rang, it was Natasha. Natasha and I used to work at Kmart when I was in high school. We have kept in touch regularly ever since.

"Hey Tash!" I said.

"Hey Soph, look I was wondering if we could meet up sometime?" She asked.

"Uh yeah, how soon?"

"Hmm I don't know, are you free today?"

"Yeah I'm at the shopping at the-"

"Be there in ten." She hung up on me. Okay then.
