Promise to Stay alive: AOUAD (Su-Hyeok X Cheong-San)

Episode 3 (chapter 5)

As they entered the room Dae-Su pulled both of them in a tight hug.....

"Bare-Su! Oh, thank God You're fine!! Cheong-San what about you? " He said. They can hear Na-Yeon shouting about closing the window, and getting into another fight with Gyeong-su.

After pulling away from Dae-Su, Su-Hyeok went to stand by Cheong-San again. He pulled the shorter one close by one arm. Though he was joking all the time outside while dangling down the rope, Su-Hyeok knew very well, that was a very risky position, and there were a lot of chances of him losing Cheong-San. Without any thought of what he was doing Su-Hyeok placed his lips on Cheong-San's forehead and kissed him. No one was giving them much mind as they were busy with Gyeong-su and Na-Yeon.

Cheong-San looked up at him with a wide eye. "Su-Hyeok?"

"Would you believe me, if I said I like you? " He whispered, suddenly feeling this is the time. Now or never. There are chances he can die since flesh-eating terror are outside everywhere. God knows maybe they have spread to the outside of the school too, or worse the whole of Korea. So, he just wants the boy to know. And promise him to save him in every situation.

Cheong-San blushed. He looked shocked and gaped at him with eyes wide. "I'm not joking you know..." Su-Hyeok assured. "I was thinking about telling you for months now. But, did not get the courage. But now, in this situation..." Su-Hyeok was looking down at the boy, smiling. "I just felt I should tell you. Let you know how much you mean to me"

A shy grin came to Cheong-San's face as he said. "Uh, this is not time for all these Su-Hyeok, there are a lot of chances of us dying at any moment."

"We can be alive, there are chances of that too."

"I know, lemme say, I like you too. " Cheong-San confessed reddening.

Su-Hyeok could not take in the view of a shy Cheong-San for a long time, cause the fight between Na-Yeon and Gyeong-su has become fierce. The pesky girl has called him Welfie. Cheong-San pulled away from him and ran to hold back his best friend away from Na-Yeon so that he doesn't hurt her.

"How could you say that to him? " Cheong-San said.

With Ms. Park scolding both the students things settled down for then. After knowing the intention of the word Welfie, Ms. Park knew, Gyeong-su had reason to feel insulted. But being the only adult she also knew that, this is not time for holding onto a grievance against each other. It is time for helping and counting on each other.

But Gyeong-su felt sad. He knew he came from a poor family. But, why would someone hurt him always for that? Looking at his best friend being this sad, Cheong-San walked to him and stood beside him by the window.

On the other hand, Joon-Yeong and the other boys opened the computer to check anything on the internet. Su-Hyeok stood leaning on the wall. He was busy looking at Cheong-San when Nam-Ra came to him. "Don't make it obvious... " She whispered to him. "You're whipped. " It was odd, but Nam-Ra and Su-Hyeok had built up a friendship at the start of this term, though none of them were close it meant something to both of them.

"What- how- "

He didn't get the answer as they all gathered around the computer table since Joon-Yeong was checking his Facebook. All were busy, looking at videos and posts on Zombies, even Gyeong-su and Cheong-San joined them too. So, it has spread outside of the school too.

But they were not safe in that room too. Suddenly the hook of the hose began to hit the glass, breaking the window. Students jumped in surprise. Much to Su-Hyeok's disapproval again Cheong-San took 'saving everyone' on himself and went to the window to check. Nothing happened for a few minutes, they were all about to think everything is fine when a loud growl was heard and an upside-down Zombie was hanging. She grasped for Cheong-San. The boy sprinted back.
