A Witch at School [2]

We were nervous at first but we had to do it to make us, our parents and the Magic Community so they could be proud of us! Doing this for them! We knocked on the door and heard a voice that said come in. We opened the door, letting out sigh before we do it. And we just met hundreds pairs of eyes staring at us, the new kids.

"Oh hello! I'm Mrs. Marks, Dorothy Marks. And welcome, Allison Watts and Bianca Quinn to the class, students! They will be joining us this year, so BE NICE! Alright?" a woman with blonde hair and brown eyes said, she was wearing a beige dress.

The class nodded.

"Alright, we'll be having assigned seats, so I'm asking you to stand up and go to the front. When I call your names go the desks I've assigned you," Mrs. Marks added. "Okay, let's start!"

"Jack and Tracie, table 1"
"Issac and Pansy, table 2"
"Helene and Vanessa, table 3"
Mrs. Marks continued calling the students' names while going to their assigned seats for the year. This continued except when it's my turn.
"James and Bianca, table 8"

I froze and panicked. Wait, that's the dude who I hated because he gave me and Allison the wrong guide and I was so mad at him for doing that! That little- So his name was James, James Walters.
I sat down next to him, mad, without him or anyone noticing.
"Hey, you're new, right? The girl that asked me for directions to the principal's office and did you find your way to the washrooms instead?" James asked me, with a grin and a joking remark while the class grinned and some laughed.

I was about to pull my wand out, but I stopped and stood up.
"Yeah, alright! Yeah, so funny! Whatever! What's even more funnier! Your attitude! It's horrible! Wait, like you! Oops, I'm sorry I've said too much! I better stop like you should!" I replied furiously. I can feel my magic about to explode in veins, so I stopped before anything could slip.

I quickly sat down, and the class burst out laughing. I felt bad for James. Maybe I should've have done that. I can feel that James was glaring at me, that horror in his brown eyes. Oh no! I've gone too far.

What should I do now?

Well, bad news is I've been assigned with James for the whole day! The good news is.............THERE'S NO GOOD NEWS! This is a disaster!
He's still glaring at me for embarrassing him in front of the class, like he was about to attack me. For some reason, I thought I saw his eyes turned....Never mind! I must be imagining things. That was weird. The day continued as the same thing, James glaring and hating on me, boring lessons, etc..... I can't wait to go home and continue reading my book: Mythical Creatures 101~ Advanced, I've learned so many things with this book. From witches to vampires! But I'm only on chapter 1 for vampires, and I've already finished the witches/wizards chapter long time ago. I can't wait to finish the chapters about vampires, our rivals/enemies to be specific.

Ring ring.............
Finally the school bell rang!
So I can get away from James as fast as possible! But everybody stayed in their seats....what's happening?

"Okay, before you guys go, be sure to do a 1 page essay about what's biology. Have a good day! I'll see you next time! Bye!" Our biology teacher, Miss Penny said.
The class nodded and flung out of the classroom.
Allison stayed behind. I walked towards her, and asked her why's she staying behind.
And she whispered to me a brillant idea. She's going to be going to my house for dinner and work on the essay that Miss Penny assigned with me, and we can work on our witches side later on.

"Great idea," I replied, lowering my voice.
"Okay, let's get out of here here before anyone catches us!" Allison whispered.
We scurried out of the classroom and to the front of the school. We walked together and saw Allison's mother. Allison explained to her mother that we will be having dinner together and working on the essay for biology. Thankfully, her mother agreed. When we got to my house, my mother and father asked me the same thing, I explained to them the same explanation as Allison did.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! For now...

We quickly finished dinner, thanked my parents, fed Midnight and headed up to my room. After we closed my bedroom door, Allison borrowed a pen and parchment, wait we need to use paper to do this. I waved my wand and a full stack of paper appeared from my hands and headed a sheet to Allison. We began to write about biology while Midnight slept on my lap.

What I wrote on my paper:

Biology is a scientific study of living organisms or life, the word "biology" is defined from the Greek words "bios" which means life and "logos" which means study. There are 3 major branches of biology: Medical Science, study of several plants for medicines, Botany, study of plants and Zoology, study of animals. There are also 4 primary categories: Botany, study of plants, which are mentioned, Human Biology, Microbiology and Zoology, study of animals, which is also mentioned before. Biology helps scientists defined the studies of living things. As you can see, biology is a great study for scientists to learn.

I finished writing the last detail, put it in a folder and slipped in my backpack. I pulled out my wand and Mythical Creatures 101~ Advanced book appeared in my hands. I turned to the last page I was on, vampires.

The book was very interesting, I got carried away and it's late, I need to go to bed. I told Allison and she said goodbye to us and she closed the door behind her.

I waved my wand to change into something more comfortable.

Midnight climbed on my bed and we went fast asleep, ready for the next day of school. Tomorrow is going to be a big day......again!
