A Witch at School [9]

As we entered the room, the door suddenly closed behind us. What is going on? Just then we heard a familiar voice, Charlotte!

"Well, well, well...look who showed up. My biggest and greatest enemy of all time!" Charlotte said.
"Why are you doing this? And what is this place?" I said.
"Well...since you don't remember.....You stole my popularity, the guy I had a crush on for years and my parents had grounded, told me that I'm an awful child, said they don't know why I'm always like this, being rude/cruel and mean all the time, they told me to live on my own for a month. AND THEY EVEN SAID THEY WISHED THEY DID'T HAVE A DAUGHTER LIKE ME! This ALL happened because of YOU!" Charlotte shouted at me as tears rolled down on her face.

"I- I can't believe your parents said that, I'm sorry that happened," I said.
"DON'T ACT SO INNOCENT, QUINN!" Charlotte yelled back.
"Dude, can you stop yelling? I'm going to be deaf!" I replied.
"No and good!" Charlotte replied.
"Okay, rude! Second of all, why are you here?" I said.
"NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS! Now, all of you! GO AWAY! I'm working on something! GET OUT!" She shouted as she pushed us towards the door and kicked us out. She slammed the door hard as the door disappeared, in front of our eyes.

"Um...guys?" Hazel asked.
We turned towards her.
"You guys might think I'm weird, but I heard a voice coming out of a hidden room," Hazel asked.
"Like my sister's voice?" Ella asked.
"Yeah, exactly like Emily's voice!" She said.
"Wait, did you say exactly like?" Ava asked.
"Yeah! Exactly like!" Hazel answered.
"Are you certain it's exactly like Emily's voice?" I asked.

"Yep!" Hazel nodded.

So Charlotte kidnapped or captured Emily and held her prisoner! This little brat- I don't want to waste my energy on her right now! Not now, but soon! Since she has been so rude and annoying to everyone, I'll get her back soon when she's not expecting! Just don't know when......

As soon as Charlotte kicked us out, we went back to class as students starting to arrive. We got our necessities and head to our seats, seating there quietly like nothing ever happened.

While the English lecture is going on, I couldn't sit still and it's really annoying. Some students around kept on asking me what's wrong, including James. But I just denied. I just don't want to deal with this today, I'm too tired. When classes are finished for today, I went out and cleared my locker. I was about to head out while students were getting picked up from the front. I felt murmuring sounds through the walls, it didn't affect me at first. But when I started to think about it, I should go investigate, maybe I could even figure out how to rescue Emily from that- Charlotte.

I snuck into the library while everyone has gone home, as I was about to open the door to the library, I heard footsteps behind me, I froze in place. They came forward towards me as my feet were stuck to the ground, somebody tapped on my shoulder, I was in horror. Who was that? I'm too scared to look.

"Who was that?" I said.
"Um....Bianca, it's me! Allison, your best friend!" The person behind me replied. I turned around to look as she was telling the truth, it was Allison!

"Oh, Allison, I'm sorry! I thought you were the teacher or even worse... Charlotte," I said.
"It's alright, Bianca! By the way... what are you still doing in school?" Allison asked.
"Well.... I'm trying to........get a book from the library for a....project!" I lied.
"Um...Bianca? Did you forgot that I'm in the exact same class as you and for your information, there's no project!" Allison said.
"Um....okay fine.....because I- I want to read a book I saw earlier that looks really interesting," I lied again. But Allison didn't believe me one bit as the look on her face.
"Okay, Bianca! Just tell me the truth, I won't be mad at you," Allison said.
"Okay, fine! I was trying to rescue Emily from that horrible witch- Oh wait I'm a witch. I mean from that horrible creature, Charlotte," I confessed.
"Don't worry! I got you! 10000000% for sure!" Allison replied.
"Thanks!" I said as I hugged her tight.

As soon as we were in the library and was about to flick the book lever, footsteps were behind us and it's coming towards....US! And that person tapped MY shoulder! Am i going to be in trouble?

I turned around, and I saw James. Next to him, I saw another figure. It was Oliver, James's best friend.

"Hey, Bianca! What are you doing here? It's after school," James continued. "And we were supposed to have a date tonight, you even told your parents about it," He added.
"Date, what?" I replied.
"Are you sure, you're okay?" He said.
"Yeah, I-I'm fine!" I answered.
"So what's are you guys doing here?" Oliver asked us. Allison and I just looked each other and finally Allison said something.
"Um...we're here, to grab....a book!" She lied. We looked as innocent as possible.
"Uh okay," They both replied.
"Just tell me when you're available, alright?" James said.
I nodded.

As they were about to leave, I just couldn't lie to him like that, so I caught up with James. "Hey, wait up!" I said.
"Yeah, what's up?" James turned to me with a smile as Oliver smirked.
"Um...I just wanted to tell you that I was lying, we weren't grabbing a book. We were actually planning to rescue our friend, Emily who was kidnapped by Charlotte," I confessed to him. "I'm sorry that I lied to you," I added.
"It's fine, I forgive you. But you should always tell me the truth, alright?" James said.
I nodded.
"Can you and Oliver help us save our friend, Emily?" I asked. "Like a favour?" I added.
Oliver and James looked at each other, they nodded. So it's a yes!
