Nobody's POV

El later calmed down and sat down with us.

There was also fireworks outside.

El: He said he was building something. That was all for me.

Max: Building something? Is he talking about the flayed?

Nancy: He must be.

Lucas: So he's building an army, just like we thought.

Ro: Yeah, but he's not building this army to spread.

Will: He's building it to stop Eleven.

Mike: Last year, El closed the gate on him. I have a feeling that really pissed him off.

Lucas: Like royally.

Mike: And the mind flayer now knows that she's the only thing that can stop him. But if she's out of the way...

Lucas: Game over.

El: He also said, he was gonna kill all of you.

Max: Yeah, well that's nice.

Nancy then stops and slowly looks at the window.

Nancy: Do you guys hear that?

Everyone else stops to listen.

Jonathan: It's just the fire works.

Nancy:...Billy.

Nancy turns to look at El.

Nancy: When he told you this, was it here in this room?

El nods her head yes.

Everyone else then hears thudding noises and the noise got louder.

Will then puts his hand behind his neck.

Will: He knows we're here.

They all went outside to find the mind flayer, and they see him from afar, and bigger.

Nancy quickly went into Hopper's shed, and got his Remington 870 gun and bullets, while Jonathan grabbed an axe.

Everyone then blocked all of the windows and doors with chairs and shelves.

When they were done, they all were close together, waiting if something would happen.

Then a bunch of objects kept shaking and the lights were slowly flickering.

Will: It's close.

They then hear branch noises and rumbling, but then it stoped.

Max: Where'd it go?

We all went quiet, until the flayer's arm smashed through the wall, and everyone moved away from it.

The arm was trying to reach El, but Jonathan hits it with the axe.

He hits it multiple times, but the arms was too strong and it throws Jonathan back and hits the wall.

The arm goes near Jonathan, and was about to attack him, until Nancy shot it multiple times with the gun.

The gun then runs out of bullets and the arm then throws the gun across the floor out of Nancy's hands.

Nancy quickly moves back, and the arm was about to attack Nancy until El stopped him with her powers.

She then uses her powers to chop the hand of the arm, and the arm then leaves the house.

Ro: Holy shit-

The arm comes back with another hand, but El stopped it with her hand.

Another arm comes in, but El stopped it with her other hand.
