Lingering Feelings

Jimin's POV
(Couple of minutes before I saw Leslie)

I arrived to the cafe where I'm meeting Leslie. I didn't see her yet so I sat down at an empty table for two.

"Jimin-Oppa is that you?" Someone asked.
I knew it wasn't Leslie because she can't speak Korean very well so, I turned my attention away from my phone and didn't expect to see HER.

"What are you doing here?" I asked Minah in a harsh tone.
"Maybe it's fate." Minah said to me which not gonna lie made me smile a little.
Damn Minah and her charm!

"Very funny. But seriously what are you doing here?"
"Um didn't I tell you that this is my favorite cafe? Of course I'd be here."She said and we both smilies at each other.
"For someone who "hates" me you definitely have a weird way of showing it." She said and it was suddenly silent.

I could never hate her. I mean I'm mad at her for getting married to another guy. But,

"Listen" we both said at the same time
"Hahaha, you can go first." I told Minah and she grabbed a seat.

"Look, Oppa I'm really sorry about everything. Don't get me wrong I love my husband but," Minah stopped a little bit looking like she was fighting back tears.
"Minah it's ok-"
"I'm sorry for making you feel like crap. I'm sorry I couldn't return your feelings." She said cutting me off.

"No Minah it's not your fault, you don't have to be sorry. I should be sorry for acting like a baby and hating you because I was selfish and loved you. I'm sorry that I didn't tell you my feelings sooner. I'm sorry that I'm still in love with you." I said confessing and letting out my inner feelings.

It was silent for a while until Minah broke out a laugh ruining the mood.

What?

"Lol yeah you're right I shouldn't be sorry just because you couldn't man up during the long years we were friends." She said mocking me.
"You haven't changed a bit. Still mocking me." I said looking down facing the table and she reached out her arm and ruffled my hair.
"Hahaha cheer up Oppa! You're handsome and have a great personality you can find a girl." "Ahhh don't you have one?! That girl"
"Leslie." I cut her off and I remembered.
"Crap Leslie! I was meeting her here for a date!" I yelled getting mad at myself.
"Yah Oppa! Such a bad boyfriend go call her! I'll leave but one more thing."
"What?" I said.
"You didn't really love me in that way Jimin." She said smiling and turned to exist.
"What are you talking about Minah?"I said in a serious tone.

What does she know? How does she know how I feel?

"Because, if you really loved me I believe you would've gotten up the courage to tell me you loved me long ago instead of just watching me silently with someone else." She said starring straight at me and left me speechless.

"Well, I'm gonna really go this time, I gotta plane to catch back to America tomorrow!"
"What you're leaving?!" I said shocked.
"Yeah. I just came back to visit family and friends and I'm heading back to America. I'm staying their permanently"

What?

"Come on don't look so sad. I called and texted you a bunch of time but you were being a baby and didn't want to answer back." She said smiling and lightly punching my arm.

"Anyway good luck on your date and don't you dare break Leslie's heart! You need a girl Jimin, you're not getting any younger." She said mockingly.
"Yah! Of course I won't." I said defensively.
"Good! Then I'll be supporting your relationship or whoever you're with okay? Fighting!" She said and we said our final goodbyes before she left.
