Day 17

Nicole's POV

It's been a couple of days since I've seen or even heard from Taehyung. It's probably because he's still grounded and busy.

We all decided to go a little shopping and headed to the big mall complex near our hotel.

"Hey you guys wanna go Starbucks? I'm thirsty." I asked everyone.

"Nah you can go I don't feel like having Starbucks." Merlia responded and one by one everyone else denied me.

Oh wells I don't mind going by myself.

I reached Starbucks and made my order. After I made my order the person behind me tapped my shoulder. I assumed the stranger was a male because of how broad he was. But, he was tall, fit, wearing a grey hoodie, shades, and a mask covering his mouth and nose.

Who the hell is this?!

I didn't want to look rude so I gently smiled and moved a little bit away from him which made him laughed. He then pulled his shades down a little bit and said, "It's me."

"OHHHHH! Jungkook?!" I accidentally yelled but lucky for him there was hardly anyone here.

"Sorry." I said and he accepted the apology.

Jungkook's POV

After that awkward situation Nicole and I found a place to sit and chatted.

"Hey Jungkook, do you know whats been going on between Hoseok and Merlia lately? They've been texting each a lot lately. They're not 'together' are they."

"Of course not!" I said quickly sounding mad.

Damn it! Why did I get so defensive?

"Okay, okay." She said obviously noticing how mad I sounded.

"If you think I sounded mad and defensive I wasn't. Why would I care if they're together or not?" I said.

"Sure whatever you say." She said sarcastically laughing a little bit.

"I'm serious." I said.

"Aww you're turning red! Wait don't tell me, do YOU like Mer-"

"NO WAY!" I stood up and shouted causing a small scene. I quickly got back in my chair and tried covering my face even more with my hoodie.

"Anyways, how are things going on with you and Taehyung?" I asked trying to change the topic.

"Nothing much really. We've only been on 1 date." She responded.

"He didn't ask you out again?"I asked in shock because knowing Taehyung he definitely had asked her out more times.

"No, but I mean how could he? He's still grounded."She responded.

"What are you talking about he's not grounded anymore." I said and saw her looking confused.

Did Taehyung seriously not tell her?

"When did he get ungrounded?" She asked looking desperate to know everything so I told her.

"Why didn't he call me? Is he busy?" She asked.

"Not really, we got our recording out of the way and only have dance practice but that doesn't take up a whole day. Unless you're Namjoon or Seokjin Hyung." I explained and saw sadness in her eyes and I genuinely felt bad.

"Oh." She let out.

*Ring Ding Dong*

Nicole picked up her phone and apparently she has to go meet up with her friends and left.

I really thought Taehyung liked her.

Nicole's POV

I walked over to where everyone else feeling sluggish but once I saw them I quickly shook everything off and smiled. I was planning not to say anything about what Jungkook told me until Christine opened her mouth.

"Hey did you guys know that Taehyung's not grounded anymore?"

"What really? Since when?" Caroline asked.

"3 days ago." She said.

So it is true.

"How do you know?" I asked.

"I just remembered when I called Yoongi 2 days ago to apologies to him, he told me about that and now I'm telling you guys. Hehe sorry I took so long to tell you guys." She said.

"Wait, Nicole you didn't know." Leslie asked and soon everyone else asked.

"Nope, so what did you guys buy?" I said trying to change the topic.

"Why didn't he tell you?" Caroline asked and I looked at everyone and sighed.

"I have NO idea." I responded.

"What?! I thought you guys were dating?! You should called him." Merlia suggested and everyone agreed.

"Nah, I'm gonna wait until he tells me himself, he most likely doesn't even know that I know." I said.

Taehyung's POV

I was with Namjoon, Yoongi, and Seokjin practicing the new choreography for our comeback song while Hoseok was walking around with a long ruler making sure we were doing every move right. Jimin was just sitting down taking selfies.

Lucky Jungkook, he got to go out and do whatever.

Finally after 2 hours of practice we got to have a break.

I went to get some water, grabbed my phone and crashed on the couch.

As I was on my phone playing some games someone sat on my legs.

"Ouch! Aigoo, Jungkook get off, you're not as small as you used to be." I said moving my legs from his butt and sitting up on the couch next to him.

"You should call Nicole Hyung." He said which surprised me.

"What?" I said.

"You should tell her you're not grounded anymore."

how does he know I didn't tell her?

"I saw her today, when I went out and talked to her and found out you didn't contact her when you aren't grounded anymore." He said.

"I know." I confessed.

"Why, she's leaving in 4 days you shou-"

"Aren't you the one that said I was wasting my time with her and that we wouldn't last at all." I said which by the look on his face surprised him.

"Pabo! Who am I for you to take dating advice from? I don't even know what its like to like another person in that way." He said.

"What about me?!" Yelled Jimin in the background.

"shut up." He yelled back.

"*sigh* my point is, you shouldn't let other peoples judgment on you're relationship with someone get in the way of what you want to do. They aren't in the relationship you are." He said putting a hand on my shoulder and smiling.

"Yeah, but a part of me believed you and agreed with everything you said." I said.

"Well, if that how you truly feel then at least talk to her and see how she feels instead of just avoiding her and leaving her confused." He said.

He's right.

"Thanks Jungkook." I said genuinely meaning it.

"No problem." He responded.

"Wow, I really don't understand why you don't have a girlfriend you're such a good person." I said which only made him mad.
