J-Hope's POV
Once I got off the ferris wheel with Seokjin, Merlia was already walking towards me.
"Hey Hoseok!" She yelled and waved.
What does she want?
Wait did I just hear her say Hoseok?!!!!
"What's wrong? OMG you called me Hoseok instead of J-Hope this time!" I exclaimed and did a victory dance.
Hearing her say my real name made me happy because I've always been trying to get her to say that instead of my stage name. The only time she called me Hoseok was when, she rejected me.
Yup I still have feelings for her know matter what I try to tell myself.
"Haha. Anyways is it alright if we go talk somewhere, alone?" She asked.
"Sure." I replied and then I followed her out of the ferris wheel area.
We ended up going to the food court area and took a seat.
"So what did you want to talk to me about?" I asked once we sat down because I was getting impatient and wanted to know what she was going to tell me already.
"I took your advice. The one you told me a couple of days ago at the smoothie shop." She told me.
Crap. I forgot what I told her?
"Umm good for you." I said stuttering which blew my cover.
"You don't remember what you told me don't you?" She asked.
"Haha yeah." I said laughing out of embarrassment.
"Idiot." She commented and I caught her smiling a little bit.
AHHH SHE SMILED!
"Anyways, you told me to be like you and tell the person who I have feelings for the truth. And I did earlier in the ferris wheel." She said which made my heart drop.
I know I should be rooting for her and Jungkook but is it bad that I kinda don't want to and feel like punching a wall???
"Cool. Soooo, are you guys dating or something?" I said softly and trying to avoid eye contact from her because I know she'll see that I look jealous. And I am.
"Nope." She said which shocked me.
"What?" I shouted.
"I told him that I USED to like him and that I probably really liked the idea of him because he's my bias in BTS. Plus we've never really hung out and gotten to know each other well. Unlike you and me."She said which surprised me especially the last sentence,
'Unlike you and me.'
What is that suppose to mean?
She couldn't like me. could she?
"What are you trying to say?" I asked.
"I think I like you." She said and the tone of her voice started to get softer, showing how embarrassed she was.
OMGOMGOMG THIS IS A DREAM RIGHT?! IT HAS TO BE.
"Merlia, slap my face!"I asked moving my face close to hers.
"What?! Why?" She asked and was startled.
"Because I need to know if what you're saying to me is true or if I'm just dreaming."I asked.
Wow this is the first time I've ever wanted to be slapped by someone.
"Come o-" I said but finally she slapped me.
Ouch that actually hurt.
"See your not dreaming. I actually think I like you."She confessed, this time sounding more confident.
"I reject your confession." I said turning my head to the side and folding my arms together.
"WHAT WHY?!" She screamed.
"You either like me or you don't. There's no 'I think'." I said still in the same position waiting for a reply.
"Fine. Hoseok, I like you." She said which made me happy and almost made me break into my victory dance but I felt like messing with her a little more.
"Still no. Say that you like like me, not in the friendship way but in the 'I want to marry you and have 2 kids with you and-" I said, not being able to finish talking because Merlia cut me off.
"and 1 dog kinda way." She said finishing my sentence for me.
"How did you know what I was going to say?" I said shocked.
"Because you told me the exact same thing when you confessed your feelings for me at the smoothie shop." She said laughing.
"Oh yeah! Okay then say it. I'm waiting." I said.
"I like you Hoseok, not in the friendship way but in the 'I want to marry you and have 2 kids with you and 1 dog' kinda way." She said confidently to me, staring straight into my eyes and I was speechless.
She actually did it?
"So do you accept my confession." She asked.
"Y-yeah. But one last thing." I said stuttering a little bit.
"Ugh. What is it?" She asked getting anxious.
"Say that I'm your Hope." I said giving her a smirk and then feeling embarrassed. "You don't have to say that I'm just kidding." I said.
"Hoseok you are my Hope." She said ignoring what I just told her.
Yup, she is the perfect one for me.
"Should we go back now? I bet they're all wondering where we went." She said and got up.
"Sure." I said getting up as well.
As we were walking I grabbed her hand and held it which startled her.
"What are you doing?" She squealed and let go of my hand.
"This is what you do when you're dating." I said smiling at her and surprisingly she smiled back and held my hand and we went to meet up with the rest of our friends.
When we got there I couldn't help but notice that Jungkook was the only one not here.
"Hey what happened to Jungkook?" I asked getting worried.
"Oh he said he wasn't feeling well and went back to BigHit." Taehyung explained.
"Yeah. He did seem off." Nicole said and my worry went away but still he left so abruptly.
So unlike him.
