"oh Sarah you can't be killing yourself just by not knowing what dress to use to the ball " my mother said to me as I was wiping the tears off my face with the back of my palm

"Mama I'm not crying okay and I'm not killing myself I just want to look good I'm turning 18 mama how can I not be fussy what if my mates going to be there !?" Yes I'm the alphas smallest  daughter my name is Sarah Lewis of the blue moon pack the second strongest pack in the world my mother Lara and of course my father alpha Jacob and my three other siblings my brother the soon to be alpha James my two sisters Tika and Stephenie my mother had 4 pups and I sadly was the last born parents favorite and the one bullied by my siblings

"Huh yourl grown up so fast my babies !" My mother said as she wrapped me in a tight bear hug

"Mama ..."

"I know I know it's just your sisters wanted to get their dresses on their own well I wanted to look after my baby " she then pinched my cheeks and pouted her lips for me

"Mummy I'm gonna be 18 years old stop treating me like a baby !" I pushed her hands away and walked towards the mirror fiddling with the the sleeves of the dress I had tried it was blue of course representing our pack it ran down my knees with two slits on either side of the dress which ran up to my inner thigh it was long sleeved and it cut really deep into my chest allowing a decent amount of my boobs to show

I smiled at how it hugged my body my black long hair flowed down my waist band my blue eyes matching with my dark blue dress I looked good

And if your thinking I was skinny no I'm not my mother and father says I'm healthy my best friend Luca who is the betas son calls me thick and my siblings well I'm fat to them

"I like this one mummy !" I jumped up and down clapping my hands honestly sometimes I did behave like a child not gonna lie

She smiled as she grabbed my shoulders and again with a bear hug

"Ugh mama I can't breathe!" I tried to pull myself away but for some reason she just hugged me tighter

"Mama !" She giggled and let me go just before patting my head

"Huh!" I sighed my mother then noticed my disappointment and asked

"What's wrong baby?" I gave her a sad smile and said

"What if I don't shift ! I mean I'm turning 18 and I never shift as yet Steph and Tika had already shifted James is going to shift once he turns 18 and I still haven't mama what if-" she stopped me by putting her hand up indicating she was tired of listening

"Sarah you will and i promise you, you will shift time will come the moon goddess have her reason there is a prophecy that one of the alpha of the blue moons daughters is the moon goddess huntress she who is strong she who is in control she who's mate hunt the forbidden forest !" My mother said as tears rolled down her cheeks she once again grabbed me in a bear hug

I heard the room door open and fling shut

"Awww lookie little dumpling is getting cuddled with mama like a little baby !" Steph said as she walked up to me and patted my head I growled at her as my other sister Tika laugh

"Aw come on we just playing around with you !" Steph said as mama hugged her shoulders

I knew they loved me and also loved treating me like a baby

"Well I don't wanna be treated like a child because I'm not !" They all exchanged glances as Tika and Steph burst into laughter my mother just Shaking her head left to right

"Well that dress looks cute on you !" I heard the the front door open as for the scent of my best friend Luca and along with his gruff killer voice it was intimidating it matched his tallness and his broad shoulders along with his baby blue eyes and dark curly hair that fell onto his forehead I'd say that Luca was very handsome and attractive he was 2 years older than me which meant he was turning 20 in three months time

"Well thank you fine gentlemen" i slowly walked towards him and hugged him by his waist as he hugged my shoulders I really wish he was my mate he was so kind funny he treated me so good and never doubted me we had alot in commen we spent our time painting along with reading books together when ever we tried to cook we either set the kitchen on fire or burnt the food or added wrong ingredients which led to food poisoning

"You two should get a room seriously when are yourl gonna tell each other the truth !" Tika said as I pulled away from Luca looking at him under my lashes he looked into my eyes as his lips curled up

"Shut up okay !" I screamed at her as they broke into laughter

"Luca what brings you here ?" My mother asked

"Forgive me Luna Lara ,I came to pick Sarah up I have a surprise for her I just thought she'd be done picking a dress by now " he said as he grabbed my left hand and twirled me around

I giggled like a small child who just got a chocolate clearly I was blushing he then stopped grabbed me by my waist and pulled me towards him

"Well I have made my choice do you like it !?" I said to him running my hand up my body

His eyes ran from down to up my body as he gulped and licked his bottom lips he then smiled and said "yes I love it "

That surely made me blush even more

"Uhm no you two seriously need to get a room and fast I sense im gonna be an aunty !" Stephanie said as she pointed at us

"Oh please shut up no one's going to be an aunty nor uncle anytime soon " I smiled and looked at Luca who now was blushing wait did I say that God help me

My mother cleared her throat and said "well Sarah you better get dressed don't keep the surprise waiting "

I nodded and turned to Luca saying " I'll go change I'll meet you in your car ?" He nodded and walked out I  turned to see my sisters and mother smiling at me

"What ?" I said as I walked pass them

"Can't you see that his in love -" i cut my mother off

"Mama can you help me unzip this dress please ?" She nodded and unzipped it I then threw my white summer dress on and grabbed my hair into a messy bun along with grabbing my black sandals

"Okay I'm leaving I'll see yourl later or Tommorow" as I stepped towards the door

"Sarah !" My mother yelled at me I turned around to meet her piercing blue eyed gaze which crepped me out because it had black swerling in it and that only happened when she got angry

"Sorry mummy I didn't mean to interrupt you I'm just not ready for love not that I know I have a mate out there I love Luca yes but I want to wait for my mate mama understand" she sighed as she grabbed me by my shoulders

"I know baby it's just .... His a good guy who can protect you if the prophecy is true your mate is a murderer do you understand me and he won't come for you !" I kept my gaze on the floor as I said

"I know ... I should go Luca will start to tease me that I take over an hour to get ready " she laughed and stepped back as I saw my two sisters head faced towards the ground

Although I hadn't shifted I wasn't intimidated by my mother or father's power being alpha and Luna

I saw Lucas black mustang parked outside the pack house which was my house of course

I walked towards the car as Luca jumped out and opened the door for me along with closing it behind me

He jumped in and clamped my seat belt

"Safety first cutie " i smiled at his words

"Well aren't you being protective " he smiled and said ready I nodded as he started the ignition and drove off I then turned to face him to look at his outfit

He used a black t-shirt which hugged his body it showed off his muscular chest and abs which he paired off with a grey jogger

"Done staring ?" He asked as he smirked and turned towards me

"Oh please like you don't stare at me " I giggled as I hit his shoulder

"Owww" he faked being hurt as he swerved the car "omg Luca you'll get us killed and i don't wanna die okay !"

He smiled "okay my drama queen I won't "

"Where are we going ?" I asked looking at the dirt road ahead of us
