"wha-what?" I asked as I fiddled with my fingers something I did when I didn't know how to deal with the situation around me

"I'm in love with you okay !" He said as he grabbed my hand and planted a kiss onto my hand

I swallowed hard looking at him as he smiled at me " I - I - I love you to " I said as I closed my eyes

He then pulled me towards him wrapping me into a warm hug before placing a kiss onto my head

We then withdrew from each other's embrace and ate the snack and did portraits of each other I started getting dark when Luca decided to drive me home I had school the next day so I needed to get back in order to complete my home work for history we were starting on a new pack history Tommorow which I was excited about since history was my favorite subject

We then reached the pack mansion

He opened the car door and walked me to the front door as he pulled my hand yanking me back as his lips crashed onto mine I wrapped my hands around his neck as he hugged my waist people started at us but we didn't care they needed to know about us being a couple just as I pulled away the front door opened revealing my over protective brother who was Lucas other best friend well I'd call them brothers from different blood lines

He cleared his throat as he looked at me and Luca "what's going on here ?" I smiled as Luca hugged my waist

"Oh I see well I'm glad you chose Luca I don't have to give him any talk cause I trust him " he walked up to us and hugged both of us

"Congratulations Luca protect her with all your life " he said as he took a step back

"Oh I will James you have no idea how happy I am right now !" I smiled at them as Luca said "well I don't want you missing school tommorow because of me go on inside "

James nodded as I walked inside my mother sisters and father stood at the entrance of our kitchen smiles plastered on their faces as they stared at me

"What ?" My sister's were the first to talk "we knew yourl were in love !" I rolled my eyes as I walked up to my father hugged him before kissing his cheek "hello father " he hugged me back "little bunny I'm glad you chose Luca "

I smiled as I walked up to my mother and hugged her she hugged me in a different way this time tighter then her bear hugs she then placed a kiss on my head "Ohhhh baby finally you two are together " I smiled and stepped back

"Uh tommorows school I have homework so I'll have supper later okay " they nodded as I left I walked to my room decorated white and baby blue

I threw myself on my king size bed

After a hot shower I changed into my pink silk nightdress and threw on a baby pink silk robe

I sat at my study desk and wrote out an essay on my heritage once I was done I made my way down to the pack dinning room where I saw my perfect family seated "where are the pack members?" I asked "well your father wanted to discuss some important information about the ball for yourl so their food was sent to their rooms " I nodded and took a seat next to my brother who was my favorite sibling

"Well then shall we ?" I said as I started dishing the roast chicken onto my plate along with potato salad

"Ah yes so we've invited some alphas from smaller packs and along with alpha Phillipe from the love moon pack he hasn't found his mate yet and wants to see if she's here in our pack along with you girls since the prophecy isn't certain Sarah i suggest you attend the ball with Luca no other males will look at a female with a male " i sighed at his comment I mean yeah I loved Luca but I really wanted to show people I was independent , strong that I could stand by myself you know

"What about the strongest pack what their name ag-" before I could finish my father shut me up

"I would not have you say their name in my pack house id rather have a dead daughter than her going around talking about that pack !"

My eyes widen as I saw my siblings and mother's head facing the table "i didn't say anything father if your just gonna insist on my being dead than let it be kill me for just asking !" I got up as I pushed my chair in my father pinched the bridge of his nose "how do you not be intimidated by my power !"

My eyes widen at his comment he didn't care if I was hurt by what he said he didn't care about me did he here I was thinking he loved me he then shot up his blue eyes meeting mine as tears rolled down my cheek

He suddenly softened his gaze as he reached to me I stepped back my brother got up as my sister's looked at my mother for help but she just sat there tears rolling down her cheek

James grabbed my shoulders and walked upstairs to my room he opened the door and led me to my bed

"Huh Sarah he ..I .... Father ... I don't know I can't explain cause even I don't know but I'm sorry for how father treated you " he hugged me as tears flowed down my cheek

I pushed back and smiled "it's fine I get it he doesn't like discussing that pack I'll go apologies "

He smiled as he let me go I walked to my father's office as I heard my mother's voice in there to "you can't keep reacting like that when they bring up that pack she will get suspecious "

"I know I know but what if what if he finds out his a bad man his got so much blood on his hands Lara she's my baby girl I love her if he finds out he will take her from us "

What where they talking about ? I decided not to eavesdrop so I knocked as my mother opened the door

"Oh Sarah " i smiled as I walked in not wanting to ask them about their conversation my father looked at me as he gave me a sad smile I walked up to him and hugged him "I'm sorry father I won't ask about him again okay " he then placed as kiss on my head

"Okay I'm sorry I shouldn't of said that " i pulled back and walked to the door

I walked to my room as I threw myself on the bed sleep took over me instantly
