The Samurai

Arriving at Shimoda it was midday and your supprised to see someone outside the village sleeping leaning on a sword with an old family crest not that you would know which family it belongs to. Continuing threw the town it is quite busy nothing like anyone is afraid of any sort of demon but you could never be to cautious.

Y/N: it's nice here

You say to yourself as everyone walks past you. spotting three people at a sort of reastraunt you go over to then and start asking some questions.

Y/N: hey sorry to bother you but do you know anything about a man eating monster around here would you

The area around you goes completely silent as they all look to each other as one takes a sip of his drink before placing it down.

 Guy1: what do you know and why are you asking

Y/N: it's my job to kill them 

You say this with a straight face as everyone looks between you both.

Guy1: hu there's one here he comes at night but I think you know about that 

Guy2: we all know not to leave here the man at the gate is a new one each day

Guy3: he arrives close to sunrise and quickly kills the person 

Y/N: does anyone train here

Guy1: yeah if you go down there you will meet a dojo it's run by a family called the Yamoka's you would have to speak with them but legend has it it was once apart of there family 

Y/N: thank you hopefully I can stop all this senseless death 

They nod to you as you do the same heading towards the dojo as a way of understanding more about the demon before nightfall. Entering the dojo you see a bunch of people training with swords as a older man of around 80 years of age looking depressed as a younger man was swinging his sword infront of everyone clearly training them. A young girl watches all of them whilst holding her own bokken looking like she is part of the family. 

Y/N: *this seams to be the place*

Walking over to the old man you then sit down next to him.

Y/N: are you Mr. Yamoka

The old man looks at you sadness before nodding.

Y/N: I have some questions about the demon

He looks at you with wide eyes before getting up.

Mr. Yamoka: follow me this is not something to talk about with prying ears 

You follow him to a room in the back of the dojo seemingly his house.

Mr. Yamoka: you wish to know of the demon that plagues this land

You nod respectfully.

Mr. Yamoka: this demon is      was my father , Kuzan, he was a proud samurai but now he is an Oni with the strength to match, there's been many diffrent times when the people guarding the town have had there heads crushed in with a bokken

Listening intently you try and understand more about his skill set to better fight him.

Mr. Yamoka: I ask you please don't fight him I don't want anyone else to die to him

You stand up bowing to him.

Y/N: I'm sorry Mr. Yamoka but it's my job as a demon slayer to fight him

Mr. Yamoka: if that's what you need to do they there is nothing I can do but if you wish to anger him call him the Oni Yamoka it angers him but should you choose this option be carful of the consequences it brings
