-Christopher's POV-
I was awoken by a tap on my arm. "Bubba?.."

"Yes?" I mumbled incoherently.

"I hear screaming." Solice, My five year old sister responded again. I rolled over facing her tiny form.

"It's was just a bad dream, Sol. Remember, dreams can't hurt you." I said trying to convince her.

"Yeah but.." Then I heard it. Gun shots. I got up and wiped the sleep from my eyes.

"Stay here" I spoke quickly, walking out of our little hide out in the woods. Solice and I were both imperfect. She had freckles scattered all over her face and well I, I stood up for what I believed in. Hell, I still do.

I crept up behind a bush and looked out towards the lake. There were 16 fortitudes all looming over a woman's body's. I shuttered thinking about how cruel you have to be to kill a woman or anyone because they had flaws. I continued to ponder on this thought until I heard the crackling of leaves behind me. I closed my eyes turning around slowly. There was a fortitude bending to pick something up. Once in his arms, I noticed it was a woman. She had long white wavy hair. She looked to be asleep but for what I know about the I know that that isn't true. She had been injected.

I stalked up behind the fortitude, swiftly I wrapped my arms around his neck and twisted it. Successfully breaking it. I watched as he fell to the ground with the young woman in his arms. I quickly scooped her up and ran back to my house.
