Headcanon that Crewel knew Ace's brother in school but Ace was too young to remember who he was so when it comes time for him to go to NRC he doesn't recognise Crewel but Crewel does and it takes an unlimited amount of patience and strength not to turn around and blackmail Ace into behaving because he knew Ace use to wear dresses as a child and he knows Ace is too prideful to let anyone see that.
