It's been a week since I became team manager for the Karasuno volleyball team. It's been fun watching them practice, and Suga told me that there are two other team managers, Kiyoko and Yachi. I haven't seen them yet, but Suga said they're nice and I'm taking his word for it. Speaking of Suga, he invited me to sit with him at lunch today. I said yes because I'm a first year and I don't have many friends.

(Time skip)

I step into the Cafeteria, get my lunch and start searching for wherever Suga is sitting. I eventually see him in the corner of the Cafeteria and walk over.

"Hi Suga-san!" I say happily.

"Hi Y/n!" Suga says with a cute smile.

I glance at who was sitting across from Suga and my heart stops. ASAHI IS HERE!! He looks so handsome in his school uniform and all of his long hair d-

"Are you okay?" Asahi says interrupting my thoughts.

"Y-yeah. Why?" I say as my face starts to burn probably from blush.

"You look scared...like your eyes are huge." Asahi says worried.

"ASAHI!! Why would you say something like that!?" Suga yelled.

"No! I-I didn't mean it like that, she just looked scared!" Asahi says apologizing. Suga laughed at Asahi's immediate defense.

"I-It's okay." I say.

"Did I scare you?" He says nervously rubbing the back of his neck.

"No! I was just looking at you and how pret-, not pretty! Well you are pretty but not like REALLY pretty....I'm just gonna shut up." I say putting my head down and taking a bite out of my sandwich.

"O-oh okay." Asahi says nervously laughing.

Why do I have to be this way?

(Time skip)

"Hey Y/n, do you wanna walk home with me? I need to ask you something important." Suga says coming up to me, as I was about to go home.

"Sure! What do you need to ask me?" I say happily. I like being with Suga. I guess you can say we're friends. We still definitely need to get to know each other better though.

"Do you like Asahi?" He says with a smirk.

"What? No!" I say trying to be as believable as possible.

"Wow, you're just as bad at lying as Asahi. A true match made in heaven."

"Really? You think so?" I say excited.

"Oh, so you want to be?" He says elbowing me on my arm.

"I hate you." I say, rolling my eyes.

"No you don't and don't worry I think he likes you too." He says with a wink.

I blush just thinking about it. My emotions really need to calm down. After that we started talking about school and volleyball. It is nice having someone to talk to, especially someone like Suga.
