It was this moment that really, truly cemented in my mind, just how dangerous Y/n was. At times he looked and sounded so gentle, but at this very moment, the way he said Master, he was on the other side of the room and it sent chills up my spine, it felt as though something was slithering up my back, he didn't even have to look at me and I could feel it.
It also answered the biggest question I had yet. I had wondered why his father had named them the Snake Clan, and I got my answer. The Green and Gold Gilded Chess pieces, the majority of the furniture in the entire house being green with gold adornments and a deep, dark oak wood to contrast the gold.
Y/n was the Son of the Trickster Goddess, Loki.
Rias Point of View
I definitely wasn't certain, but it made so much sense, especially when it comes down to making deals. I did my research, six years ago, Serpentine Corp. was nothing but a low scale, small time underground arms shop called Snake Eye's. There was no way Y/n was able to grow this company from essentially nothing. Even is things went perfectly, it would take at least 10 years to get a large scale company, but a world wide conglomerate? Only someone who could talk major deals and pull some major tricks could do it in less than 6 years.
Y/n: Rias...? You haven't answered me. Would you care to join me for Dinner?
I'd forgotten my surroundings, I had immediately gone into deep thought over Y/n's parentage and forgotten he'd asked me a question, and from the look on his face, he didn't even noticed he'd done anything.
Rias: Oh... Sorry, I just... whatever. I'd love to join you for dinner, thank you for inviting me.
Y/n: Of course, and everyone else is more than welcome to join us as well.
Rias: I'll be sure to extend the invitation then.
Y/n: Wonderful, I'll inform Miss Adellai then.
Rias: Before you do, could I ask you one more question?
Y/n: Of course.
Rias: I know you were Atheist just yesterday. But, what would you do if you found out that you were the son of a divine entity?
Y/n: Like a Demi-God? Trust me, I've ready Percy Jackson, and I quite enjoyed it, but if I found out I was one, well... at that point, my entire life, what I believed to be true, would all have been a big lie. I mean, imagine not believing in something that makes up half of you.
Rias: Heh, I could see how traumatic that could be.
Y/n: I think that I could get behind it though. Like... it'd be cool, but it'd take me so long to get over having my entire life completely changed up on me.
Rias: Well, if you do find out something like that, I'll be there to support you.
Y/n: Well, let's hope you don't have too, yeah?
Rias: Definitely.

2 week's after Y/n's resurrection.
Y/n Point of View.
I was currently sitting inside of the Occult Research Club's, club room, it was apparently the front for the group, a way to hide their activities right under the school's nose.
Everyone was currently taking part in their usually daily classes. Meaning I was quite bored. Business had been continuing as usual and Serpentine was working at an all time high in efficiency.
So I was doing some... practice? Could it even be called that?
Akeno had explained that my aura was supposedly very vivid. Meaning I could very well have very good magical control, or something like that, I only picked up very specific words 'Aura', 'High Magic Affinity' and her usual flirtatious comment that usually consisted of hinting at something sexual. Today's comment went a bit like this-
Flashback / 3rd Point of View
Akeno: So Y/n, have you been practicing like I told you?
Y/n: You mean summoning a floating green ball in my palm and not knowing what to do from there? Absolutely.
Akeno: Oh~? You're a quick learner it seems. Perhaps we should have you moving into something a bit more advanced!
Y/n: Sure thing, what'd you have in mind for me?
Akeno: Try shaping your magic. Your magic of course can be used as magic circles, sure. But it can also be used in many different ways and given a multitude of forms. Angels for example, like to use halo's, and Fallen Angel's use spears.
Y/n: You want me to make a Halo and a spear out of Magic?
Akeno: Oh no Silly, start with something small, perhaps something that could comfortably fit in your palm, maybe... easily hidden~?
Y/n: I think I can do that, do I just visualize a shape? Or is it more in-depth than that?
Akeno: Just visualizing is a good start. But the more in-depth shapes, require a more... in-depth form of teaching~
Akeno, who'd taken a seat next to you, reached out and placed a hand on your shoulder before using her other arm to lift yours and then following your elbow to the tips of your fingers.
Akeno: Unless of course you'd like to skip directly to having in-depth, hands on lessons with yours truly~?
You gave a light laugh before taking her chin between your pointer finger and thumb.
Y/n: Don't tempt me, darling~ I'm certain you couldn't handle a snake like me, unless you want to find out the hard way~?
There it was, exactly what Rias had warned her about, that voice that could cut in and turn you into a puppet. She nearly melted under those words, but thankfully she was able to pull herself together.
Akeno: Mmm~ I bet you'd just love that, wouldn't you~? Perhaps another time.
End Flashback / Y/n Point of View
It still made me chuckle, the way she had considered my offer, but her new 'lesson' was simply... boring. I'd been able to shape the orb of magic at will for about 4 hours and it's only been about 6 hours since classes had begun, so I moved on, slowly upping the size before quickly getting bored of that too. Then, it struck me, the ORC had a Library, so like any eager 'student', I set off to find it, when I did, it was precisely what I hoped it would be, spell books, and lots of them too.
For the next several hours, I learned spells, they weren't the hardest by any means, but they were certainly useful, and they weren't just magic circle spells either, they were actual spells, words and actions. Showing motions of how to cast a spell. What shocked me the most was, after 24 years, it was only now that I realized I had a photographic memory, either that or it was a perk of being a devil, either way it came in VERY handy when learning spells.
After about 4 hours of looking through books, I had probably read a good 45 spell books, ranging from attack spells, defense spells, support and the occasional odd ones. Like a spell that made your hair move on it's own for a short period of time. My favorite however, was the book of snakes, it had immediately caught my attention with it's emerald green binding. It consisted purely of snake related spells. For every type of venom, there were 2 spells, a spell to inflict, and a spell to cure. There were transfiguration spells, spells that could make your arms into snakes. It was amazing the things that could be done with Magic, but also somewhat terrifying. Even to someone who killed dozens of people, magic scared me. I simply killed, ending things as quickly as I could, I considered it mercy, but when I read some of the spells in hear, making someone feel as though there skin was on fire? Suffocation spells, drowning? It was horrible, and yet... for some reason, I couldn't stop reading. I just kept turning the page, page after page, I couldn't stop, it was addicting, learning all these spells that could make someone suffer for an eternity. Little did I realize... it was the beginning of a long, long road of horrible, instinctual feelings that would go against everything I believed in.
