Once we finished the last chorus of what our fans thought was the final song for tonight, our fans roared as we bowed and scurried off the stage. Backstage was extremely hectic as the stage manager and crew members yelled in urgency to get everything set up and everybody to their places at the right time for my solo performance.
"Wardrobe and make up! Get ready! Xina's getting ready to head to the dressing room," the stage manager called from his walkie talkie as he lead me there. The rest of the girls also headed to their rooms to change as they will be act as back up singers for my performance tonight. Surprisingly they all agreed to do it, even Emani which has been a huge blessing. The boys of Jodeci will act as my live band tonight.
"Only 20 minutes until you're up there Xi. You ready for this?" Dalvin asked as he sat on a cushioned seat in the dressing room and watched me get ready.
"About as ready as I can be," I gave chuckled nervously. "I can't believe this is really happening, this was just a dream a few weeks ago."
"Well baby, dreams really do come true don't they?" he grinned as the stylist fixed my new stage attire.
