"But at your best you are loooved, You're a positive motivating force within my liiife. Should you ever feel the need to wonder why. Let me Knoow. Let me knooow" I sang to my beautiful sunshine I held in my arms, as she smiled back up at me with dark brown lazy eyes that resembled her father's. "You are mommy's biggest inspiration you know that?"

She grabbed a hold of one of my fingers with her tiny hand and glanced at it in awe, as if it were the most fascinating thing in the world. She cooed, making me giggle.

"What else should mommy si-"

I began before the door of the nursery suddenly flew open, making a loud banging noise against the door stopper. This startled both me and the baby as the energy in the room completely shifted. The opened door revealed a man I instantly recognized as DeVante. The man I love. Instead he didn't look like the man I fell in love with, certainly didn't feel like it. His face was red with anger as his eyebrows tensed together and his fists clenched until white. I felt scared. I held my baby closer to me, compelled to protect her as he came charging in.

"You dirty little bitch," he spat lowly.

"Wha- DeVante, I can explain-"

"HOW DARE YOU! HOW FUCKIN DARE YOU FLAUNT THIS LITTLE SON OF A BITCH IN FRONT OF ME! HOW DARE YOH HAVE THAT NIGGA's BABY IN FACE LIKE THAT!," he screamed. The baby began to cry hysterically.

"Shh...shhhh, it's okay baby. Everything's okay-," I tried to comfort her before being interrupted again.

"Fuck her! What about me! What about us! You threw everything we've been through for a new life with some nigga who will never love you like I do!," hot tears now ran down De's face, and I was forced to deal with two crying babies.

"DeVante! Get a hold of yourself! You're scaring her! What the fuck is wrong with you!" I finally found the strength to yell back, which I wished I hadn't done, because after that he'd done the unthinkable.

Without another breath being wasted on words, he quickly charged at me and my screaming baby. I tried to get up from the rocking chair and make a run for it, but he was too fast, too determined, too dangerous. He snatched my baby out of my arms, but not with ease. I fought back, trying my best to block him and kick him as my legs were the only resources I had to defend myself and my baby. However, he was still much stronger and managed to rip her away from me. He ran out of the nursery and towards the balcony where the lounging room resided.

"DEVANTE STOP! STOP PLEASE!!" I cried. I tried my hardest to grip his arm so that he could let go of her, but no matter how much I fought, his strength was godly. Pushing me away, slide the balcony door open and ran towards the railing. Much to my horror, he held the innocent life that Dino and I created over the railing.
