*Sorry the chapters have been so short. This one will be longer I promise. And above is Nina Dobrev, or who I picture as Cecilia. You all may know her from the wonderful series of Vampire Diaries. That's it, and thanks for reading! xo, Christi*
I wake up to the smell of bacon, pancakes, and eggs. I look around the room to take in my surroundings. The daylight blinding me as my eyes attempt to adjust to the brightness.
"How'd you sleep?" a light voice says to me over the sound of sizzling and running water.
"Fine, I guess." I grumble.
"Good! Want some breakfast? if not, that's fine. I won't force you to eat but at least have some orange juice. You lost quite a bit of blood from your accident and you literally passed out on me while I was stitching your leg up."
"Stitching my le-" I begin to question as I see a large bandage on my calve. Oh.
"Don't touch that! and keep those stitches as dry as possible." Cecelia warns.
She looks up from the sink and a small smile is placed upon her face. With a look of worry in her brown eyes. Her hair is now pulled up in a long brown wavy ponytail. She has black sweat pants from PINK on and a blue shirt that says;
"Just because I'm out of bed doesn't mean I'm awake."
"I should probably be going." I say as I clear my throat.
"So you want to be a hard ass and not eat?" She says jokingly.
"Ha. No, I'm not being a hard ass. I just have to go."
"And do what? Jordan... you can barely walk!"
"Look Amelia. I have to go okay? Thanks for everything."
I stand up from the couch and she turns the stove off and walks toward me. Her brown beaty eyes attempting to read me.
"Don't pretend to not know my name just to sound like a rude jerk." She seethes through her teeth to me as she scowls in my face. "Please just come sit down and eat. Then I'll drive you to wherever you need to be. I called a towing service to get your car from the side of the road. I'll call you when they're ready for you to pick it up."
I sigh and give in to her giving spirit.
"Okay, yeah whatever." I sigh.
"Thank you." She smiles gladly.
Cecilia's POV
I wake up early to make breakfast for the strange young man in my living room. I fix my hair into a ponytail and put a bra on under my pajama shirt. I take off my pajama shorts and put on a pair of PINK sweat pants. I'd already taken off my makeup after Jordan went to sleep last night.
He seemed. Not there. Distant. I felt bad even though he had such a harsh demeanor. And his fight to not go to the hospital also confused me. If I was as injured and frightened as he was and seemed, I'd be pleaing for a ride to the hospital. I look in the mirror and frown at the small fly away ringlets coming from my head before I leave my room.
Outside the sun is bright and the dorm is extremely quiet. Nicole and Jasmine must have stayed over night with some guys from the party. I turn the corner and hear loud snorring sounds coming from the couch. I don't mean to be a creep, but he appears much younger, and more innocent when he's sleeping. Even more so with the cuts all over his face and torso. He's so damn hot. I'm not even sure he tries. I don't live with any men, so he'll have to go without a shirt. Great. That makes me look slutty.
I walk into the kitchen and turn on the stove and grab some things from the cabinet and fridge. I take out bacon, pancake batter, and eggs. I clean out a pan and my focused is put on Jordan. I wonder how his car crash happened. he seemed to know, but not really know. like he was trying to deny it. whatever the hell it was. I begin to cook and he opens his eyes, then quickly narrows them due to the bright sunrise coming through the curtains I'm assuming.
