When ParYash stepped into Pallavi's store, they were greeted by one of Pallavi's employees, Kavya.

She was a young girl with black curly hair and fair skin, who seemed like a fresh out of college employee, smiled at ParYash. "Hello ma'am. Hello sir. You must be Mr. Suyash Mehra?"

Suyash nodded his head yes.

"Pallavi ma'am is expecting you in her studio." Kavya took ParYash to upstairs.

Pallavi was talking to her employee, giving instructions on making adjustments to the dress requested by her client. She had been very busy of late because of the upcoming fashion week and had no time for this, but she didn't want to upset her loyal client.

"Ma'am, Mr.Suyash Mehra is here," Kavya let Pallavi know of Parvati and Suyash's presence.

"Got it?" Pallavi asked her other employee who in turn nodded her head positively.

Pallavi was horrified as she turned to look at Suyash. "Wow! What have you done to yourself, Mr.Mehra?!" She approached Suyash with exclamation which made him and Parvati exchange glances in confusion.

"Have you lost the desire to live? You have gained a lot of weight!"

Suyash stared at her, amused. He found her reaction over the top. Agreed he had let go of himself lately and gained a bit, but it wasn't much that deserved such excessive reactions.

"Stop exaggerating, Pallavi." Parvati giggled, and gave a fond look to Suyash."He looks fine and very handsome." Her words brought a smile to his lips.

ParYash stood there making goo-goo eyes at each other which annoyed hell out of Pallavi, but she maintained her calm and composure.

"Not just him, look at yourself!" Pallavi's voice broke their eye contact. "For a while I wanted to tell you that you look like you have birthed a dozen kids and lost interest in yourself. Please take some time for yourself and get back in shape, sweetheart."

Exaggeration! Exaggeration!

Suyash didn't like it. He found her words deeply offensive. No one can talk about his wife like that.

Parvati stood stunned. Pallavi's remarks were unexpected and it was unlikely for Pallavi to say that to her. Those mean words pricked her heart. When she glanced over Suyash, his
expression worried her. She had known him long enough to read his face. She chuckled and lied in an attempt to light up the situation. "Not you too, Pallavi! Mother has been nagging me about my weight, now you too please don't start."

"Okay. Right now my concern is Mr.Mehra," Pallavi said with a smile and Suyash's mood seemed to soften. "Kavya, please bring the weighing scale here."

Her employee nodded and left immediately.

"She's Kavya Varma. I hired her recently. I was a guest lecturer in her design school once and she was so impressed by me that she wanted to do her internship here," Pallavi informed ParYash.

"Wow! More like she's your fan!" Parvati's eyes gleamed with joy. "This is nothing, just wait and see, soon you will have the whole fashion world going crazy over your work!"

Suyash was kinda bored in their girly talks and felt relieved when his phone rang. He excused himself and went away from them to pick up the call. And it was the perfect opportunity for Pallavi to talk to Parvati. "There's something on my mind..."

Parvati looked at her attentively.

"Actually I have a request. Please stop tagging along with Suyash. I have missed the opportunity of going to Maldives to spend time with him and make him fall for me, but this is another great opportunity to spend time with him while working, so if you don't mind stop accompanying him to rehearsals from now on."
