Previously:

Riley won the harassment case against Simon and Topanga was working with the Dean to suspend Simon's teaching license.

Lucas and Riley are engaged.

It had been a few months since Riley had battled for her dignity with her disrespectful professor and won.

Initially Riley suffered from nightmares almost every night for a few weeks after the incident, but with her boyfriend and now fiancé's help she slowly got over the traumatic experience.

As promised Topanga had taken legal action against Simon and got his teaching license revoked with some help from the Dean.

Riley's story had inspired many girls to raise their voices in such matters instead of hiding themselves in fear of humiliation.

Riley started a women support group for such girls and helped them get justice. Topanga was extremely proud of her daughter's efforts to bring justice for many girls like herself and provided all the legal help.

Lucas also stood by his future wife's side as a rock throughout this journey.

As time went on the women support group helped make the college campus much safer for all the girls studying there.

They even managed to give justice to many girls who had initially kept shut out of fear.

Riley and Lucas spent most of their time together by either studying or working with the support group.

If they both were free, they would just spend their time either talking about absolutely nothing or sit in a comfortable silence.

The rest of the gang also left them alone to enjoy their time as an engaged couple.

One day, Lucas and Riley were sitting under a tree without the rest of their friends and reading quietly.

They had both received a book as their reading assignment so they both were working on that together.

After some time, Riley was done so she decided to lie down keeping her head in her fiancé's lap.

Lucas smiled to himself when he felt Riley lie down in his lap and started caressing his fiancée's hair.

Riley closed her eyes and smiled, feeling content.

Eventually Lucas also finished his reading assignment, and he looked down to see Riley's face.

Lucas calls out, "Riles"

Riley hmms in response.

Lucas continues, "I'm done with my book so if you want, we can go back to the dorms and hang out with our friends."
