CHP 20 GETTING BACK UP

Preston wakes me up again to say we are here.
I look out the window and find Vikk by the front door.
"Hey, you guys grab his stuff, I'll go get us in."
They agree. I rush over to Vikk.
"Hey."
"Hello. I don't know how much longer the hangover will last, so you've gotta hurry."
I nod.
"What will you guys say in the morning?"
"I'm leaving that to Rob. I guess we are hoping that since Preston is here, no one will really care."
"Ryan will."
"I'll pay him back."
"For?"
"Gas and breakfast."
"Okay. I guess that'll work. But our conditions are that Lachlan and I don't know anything."
"Fine."
I turn around and see the guys coming over.
"They've been all over each other since we picked him up."
"Perfect,"
"I know, it's adorable. I'm thinking he takes my room and I sleep on the couch."
"I'd let you take my place but I like my bed."
"Haha, it's okay."
Preston comes over and hugs Vikk.
"I've missed you."
"I've missed you too Lava P."
I see Rob gleaming. I begin to realize how worth it this mini trip was.
Vikk helps with the bags and gets us to the elevator.
"Remember to be really quiet. They're all really drunk."
Everyone laughs.
We make it out of the elevator and see Lachlan waiting outside. Everyone exchanges hugs, and we walk inside.
There are cups and glasses everywhere, and the place reeks of vodka.
We see Ryan in a chair, glass in hand, and passed out.
A couple of Jerome's old roommates scatter the room, too.
Preston looks over, as if asking where to put his stuff.
I walk towards my room, or my old room.
"Put your stuff in here," and I gesture inside.
"Mitch," Rob pulls me aside, "Where are you going to sleep?"
"Eh, probably on the couch. I'm fine. Don't worry about it. This is for you."
Rob embraces me in a hug, and whispers, "Thank you," into my ear.
I nod, understanding he'd do the same thing for me.
I quickly remove my stuff before Preston suspects anything, and head for the couch.
Vikk and Lachlan follow me.
We all sit down on the couch and smile, knowing our plan is working.

I uploaded a video and posted on wattpad within two days. Wow. Be proud of me. I love you all so much <3
