Something about that outcast

Chapter 1 (Tyler's pov.)

(A/N) so this isn't my best chapter but I wrote it in the middle of the night so that's my excuse...

"Mom, I made waffles get up!" Usually this is reversed and my Mom is the one trying to get me out of bed, but today is my last day here before I go back to my apartment in New York. I'm gunna miss my Mom but she is a lot of work.

"Okay, okay stop bothering me I'm up!"

"Yes my queen" she rolls her eyes at me and goes over to the kitchen where I have the table already ready for her.

"Wow I thought you were just making up the whole "waffle" thing just to get me out of bed you actually made this for me!"

"Yes Mom do you really think I would do something like that?" I throw my hand on my chest acting way more affected then I actually was.

"Well I would do it to you."

"Fair enough, now eat your breakfast I have something planned for us!"

"No rollercoasters."

"I know just hurry up and eat."she takes forever to eat and exaggerating every bite when I would tell her to hurry up she would purposely take an extra slow bite! God the nerve of that women!

"Mom please we're going to have to cancel if you keep up that pace." I really needed her to hurry I planned something really special and I was not going to let her ruin it.

"Alright I'm done can you do the dishes while I get ready?"

"I guess as long as you promise to look extra fabulous okay?" She rolls her eyes,

"I promise" After what seems like a year she finally comes out of her room and I stop in my tracks.

"Mom! You look amazing!" She was wearing a stunning purple dress with some sliver sandals and she even curled her hair!!!!!

"Well duh, you told me to!"we both laughed until I couldn't wait for her to see what i got her.

"Okay Mom I have a really big surprise for you so don't freak out too much okay?"

"Okay now let me see my surprise!"

"Not quite yet first we need the blind fold and for you to get in the car."

"What it's not at home! I thought you were going to video tape it not actually take me somewhere!"

"Only the best for you." She rolls her eyes and gets in the car and carefully places the blindfold so it doesn't mess up her hair. I swear she's getting more and more like me every day.

"Honey are we almost there yet?"

"Mom we just got in the car I haven't even drove anywhere yet!"

"Oh ya..." I laughed my horrid crackle laugh and started our road trip. It wasn't too long of a drive but with my crazy mother in the passengers seat it took way to long. I was also very exited to finally show my mom what I got her I had to save up a lot of money for this and I know she's going to refuse to take what I got her but I want her to be happy. So I saved up all my pay checks and bought her it!

"Okay we've got like 5 more minutes do you think you can handle it?"

"My head is getting pretty sweaty where the blind fold it can I just take it off?"

"NO! are you out of your mind that ruins that whole thing!"

"Okay calm down Ty."i know I may seem like a dick to my Mom right now but I think I know what I'm doing. She can't expect too much or else she won't have as much of a reaction.

" We're here!" I let all of my enthusiasm seep into my voice without even realizing that I was getting her hopes up way to high, so I tried to settle her down a little more.

" Mom you better like this because if you don't I will take back all my other cards away from you!"

"so it a card!" I rolled my eyes at her even though I knew she couldn't see me.

"Not just a card" I took her blindfold off "A restaurant!"

"What!!!!! Tyler how did you do this oh my god!! It beautiful baby!"

"I saved up and did a few extra jobs to
Pay for it. But it's okay because I am making your dream come true okay there is no need to over thank me for it and I am not taking it back!"

" Tyler it's so much money though I feel so bad it's my job to make your dream come true not the other way around!"

"Mom you have been saying how much you have wanted to own your own restaurant for as long as Dad left so as something to remember me by I'm giving you that opportunity to let you have one."

She was crying now "Tyler look at me, thank you so much."

(A/N) wasn't this a mushy cute little chapter!! It's kinda shitty but I'm trying to make sure I upload this in time because I don't want to disappoint anyone!
