Abhijeet stood with his hand on his hip, staring at the constable, supposed to be incharge for the file room, as he slammed a file on a pile of the disjointedly placed ones, making the dust piling on them disperse around them. The constable let out a cough, only for abhijeet's enraged glare to come in to his sight, as he cleared his throat up in a second, before looking down.

"Tumhe ek kantaap marenge na hum kaan ke neeche, aise ghoom jaoge prithvi ki tarah....khoopdi hilne pe hi thikane pe hi aayegi tumhari!" Yelled abhijeet, as he let out a loud grunt.

"Tamasha banake rakha duty ka! Mazaak hota hai kya evidence? Koi bhi saala aake churake le jaata hai! Chal kya raha hai, behenchod!" Baratted abhijeet, when pasi appeared from the side, with a bunch of papers in his hand, appearing to be photostates.

"Sir!" Exclaimed Pasi, as abhijeet turned over to him, when his glance fell on the papers in his hand.

"Sir woh humne har evidence aur usse related paper work ki copy alag se file mein rakhi thi, taaki agar aapko kuch chahiyo hoon, toh aapka file room mein dhoondne mein time waste na ho." Handed pasi over the photostates to abhijeet, of all pages in the diary.
Abhijeet first looked at them, then at Pasi.

"Pasi Sahab..." Called abhijeet with his voice now toned down.

"Ji sir.... " Responded a confused pasi.

"Humein na kamar ka takleef hai warna hum abhi aapke charnon pe gir jaate.. Kasam se, aapne mera department bacha liya." Remarked Abhijeet, as pasi let out a slight chuckle, brushing his hair at the back, his cheeks flushing with red.

Purvi looked over the diary with bani, as mysterious figures in red ink appeared on every page.

"Yeh kya bana rakha hai.... Yeh jasmine.. Uski drawing aisi hai?" questioned purvi, as bani nodded.

"As everything she does, it's perfect..." stated bani with blatant and cruel disdain, as purvi looked at her with some sympathy, patting her shoulder.

"I'm really sorry... Maine aur tumhare papa ne bahaut compare kiya tumhe aur jasmine ko... It was completely unfair... And we were just.... Hum bas, tumhare tayaji aur tayiji se ek competition sa paalke baithe hue the... Apne aapko unse better prove karne ko..." replied purvi, as bani let out an exasperated sigh.

"Abhi kya kar rahi hai hum?" questioned bani, as purvi raised her brow, astounded.

"Aap unki beti ko phasakar apni beti ko bachaoge, unhe neecha dekhaoge dukha dekar... Prove karoge you are better...you are still the same.." Concluded bani, as purvi couldn't help but ponder on what she said, knowing it was true.

Ishita was working on her laptop, when she heard a sudden knock on her door, only for her to look up to find nihaal.

"Arre tum, aao na..." Signalled ishita to the spot next on the bed.

Nihaal walked over to her, not sitting just standing by the bed.

"Zyada time nahi lunga aapka, bas ek baat batani thi.." Informed nihaal as ishita was all ears.

He pulled out of his pocket, a transparent bag, he had folded deep, only when it was thrown on the bed unfolded, was the 'EVIDENCE' written in an all red clear.

The bloody butcher knife lay in front of ishita's eyes.

"Yeh bani ne kal raat churaya police ke files room se...clearly ek aisa evidence hai jisse yeh jasmine ko phasa sakte hain.. Mila bhi toh uske kamre se tha.. I'd say get it tested." Revealed nihaal, as ishita was obviously surprised.

"Toh, badi jaldi behen ke liye pyaar jag gaya.." Made ishita a snide comment, as nihaal scoffed.

"To be honest, jab se woh gayab hui, mujhe ab kisi se bhi lagav nahi hai... It's just that i want bani to rot in jail..." Expressed nihaal his disgust for Bani.

"I'm sorry about Saumya...i know tum usse pyaar karte the bahaut.." Sympathised ishita with him, as nihaal smirked, shaking his head in disbelief.

"Well when she could have been saved, no one did that... Now all they do is be fucking sorry... What else is left to do anyway?" Commented nihaal, just done with everyone at this point.

"If it were up to me your favourite daughter would be hanged along her pathetic excuse for a human boyfriend...fortunately, I never really cared about her at all, to be hurt..."

Nihaal astonished ishita with his last words before he walked away, as she felt like she didn't recognize the person that used to be her son.
