Olivia's POV:
"I didn't really have the easiest childhood!"
"Why, what did she used to do to you?!" Josh asked moving a little bit closer to me.
"She used to make me do work until the moment I woke up to the moment I had finished!"
Flashback
"Olivia, so you obviously need to do your chemistry homework right now but instead, you are wasting my time but sleeping, get up it's 5 o'clock in the morning!" My mom shouted banging on the door like a lunatic.
I was only 7 when she did that. I was homeschooled for the majority of my life before she took me to a public school in LA. She always wanted to try and make me uncomfortable!
"Mommy please, I just want to go to sleep!"
"Don't you mommy me you little monster!"
"GET UP, IT ISN'T LATE OR ANYTHING!" I heard my mom yell before opening the blinds so I couldn't go back to sleep.
End of Flashback
"I couldn't eat, I used to starve because she wouldn't give me food until I had finished my work!"
Flashback
"Olivia, what are you doing? I shouldn't be catching you going to the fridge!"
"But mom, I'm hungry and need food!"
"WELL DO I SOUND LIKE I CARE, YOU'RE GROUNDED AND THAT MEANS THAT YOU CAN'T LEAVE THIS ROOM OR GO OUTSIDE!"

"Wow, she put your through all that stress and anxiety?" Josh looked guilty.
"Yeah, she never let me have a phone until I started college, she wouldn't let me play outside, she wouldn't let me watch TV, I basically didn't have a proper childhood!"
"Oh um..."
"Josh, are you ok?!"
He was acting odd. What was up with him?!

Joshua's POV:
I didn't know how bad Olivia's family life actually was. Maybe I should give her a break!
"Josh, are you ok?!" Olivia asked nervously.
"I think that we should call off the bet, I think that you don't deserve to deal with all this pressure and I was thinking about myself!"
"Oh uh sure, I totally get that but are you still going to keep my secret?!"
"Sure!"

I was surprised. I didn't think that Josh would be kind enough to do that. Maybe he isn't as bad as I thought!
