AFTER A NOT VERY PRODUCTIVE SHOWER, vinnie and kai head to sleep. 

at around 4:30 in the morning, kai wakes up and checks the time on her phone. she quickly calls an uber before she gets out of bed and grabs her clothes. she puts on her shoes and heads out the door in vinnie's sweatshirt and sweatpants and holding her shirt and shorts in her hand.

the uber pulls up after three minutes. she gets into the uber and it takes her home. 

when she gets home, she throws her clothes on the floor, takes her shoes off, and hops into bed. vinnie's sweatshirt smelled like him. she felt bad for leaving him but it kind of freaked her out when they woke up next to each other, so, she ran. more like drove away but you get the point.

the next morning, vinnie woke up next to no one. he almost checked around the house but he knew she left. he thought about texting her but he knew that wasn't going to do any good. he had to drop venus off with her anyway after she was done at work. 

speaking of venus, he needed to go pick her up. he got dressed and got in his truck to go get venus.

"WE MADE COOKIES YESTERDAY!" venus says to vinnie showing her the cookies she and josh made.

"oh really? they look delicious." vinnie says. "go get your stuff so we can go." he says to venus. she does as he says. 

"vick told me about what happened last night." josh says with a smile on his face. "so, did anything happen?"

"yeah. but she left in the middle of the night. she's so confusing. like one day we'll be chill and the next she'll be all flirty and bold and i don't know if she wants me or if she's just doing this for fun." vinnie confesses. 

"you're giving her all the power. you be the dominant one." josh says. 

"you're such a dork."

"try it. seriously. be straight up and ask her to be your girl." josh says. venus comes back.

"you ready to go?" vinnie asks as he picks up venus. she nods. he gets her back and they say their goodbyes as they walk out the door. 

they head back to venus' house and wait for kai to get off work.

KAI ARRIVES AT VINNIE'S HOUSE IN HER CAR. she gets out and knocks on the door. she doesn't get a response so she knocks again. vinnie then opens the door. his hair his messy and his sweatpants are wet as well as his chest.

"hey, i'm giving veevs a bath right now." vinnie says letting her in.

"um. okay." she says walking inside. she stares at his chest as he's closing the door. she then looks up at him looking at her.

"i'll be right back." vinnie says going back into the bathroom.

kai sits down on the couch and scrolls through tiktok.
