I heard a door creak open somewhere deep in my mind. I had a faint idea it was in the real world.

"Who is she?" "What is wrong with her?" "why the hell is she in the back of our van?" questions swirled around the room.

I felt someone rub my back and I snapped to consciousness. "Oh my god" I gasped, covering my face.

The owners of the car had returned. Five hot boys stared at me. I began to shake and cry. "I'm so sorry. I just needed a place to stay for the night." I sobbed, hands masking my face.

My flaming red hair was plastered to my face from the rain. I felt a hand pull mine away from my face. "why do you need a place to stay?" a boy with a striped shirt and suspenders asked.

"Umm..." I muttered and looked at the ground. "Do you need a ride home?" a blond boy asked. "No! Umm, I meant no, thank you. I-I'm fine" I screeched, then calmed myself.

A curly haired boy and the blonde one looked at each other and shrugged.

"Here, you look freezing," the curly haired boy said, pulling off his purple Jack Willis sweatshirt, peeling off my soaking wet jacket and sliding it on me.

"We were just heading back to our hotel, would you like to stay with us?" one of the boys asked.

"Y-yes please," I shivered. I was pulled into the seating section of the van. "How is this gonna work... We only have room for five." one muttered.

"Here, Niall Louis and Harry can sit in back, you can drive Liam, and I sit shotgun, and she can sit on Harry's lap!" one of the boys, a tanned one with a perfectly styled quiff said.

"Ok," the curly haired one said, and climbed in. He patted his lap, motioning me to sit. I blushed and sat on his lap.

"My name is Harry, this is Niall, Louis, Liam, and zayn. And you are?" the boy underneath me said. "my name is Tess. I'm so sorry I was in your van. I needed somewhere to stay." I whispered.

"It's no problem love, we were just surprised." the boy named Liam smiled.

"Want to explain why you needed a place to stay?" Louis asked, accusingly. My face turned a bright red and I stared at my hands.

Why should I tell them? Like they actually care. "Umm... I just needed to get away from somewhere." I muttered, checking my phone.

56 new texts. Great. "Who's that?" Harry asked, pointing at my background of Tiffany and I.

"Oh her? She's a girl I used to babysit." I let out a strangled breath, choking on my words.

"Used to?" the blonde, Niall asked. I stared at the ground, trying to figure out how to word it. "Umm... well... she passed away a few months ago. She had cancer. Her name was Tiffany." I wiped a stray tear out of my eye.

"oh...." Niall sighed. "I'm so sorry Tess," Liam looked back at me. "BRAKES!" Louis screamed, and Liam's head jerked back to the road. He slammed on the brakes, stomping on Louis' foot; he tried to his the brake for Liam. A person had cut us off.

"Jesus christ..." harry breathed, and I realized his hands had wrapped around my waist, protecting me from the potential crash.

My blood was rushing and my head was spinning. It brought back too many memories of the car crash that killed my father.

*Flashback*

I remember the flashing lights of the ambulance, and some gentle words being spoken to me, a small mask being put over my face. Someone pressed a button and gasses filled the mask, and I passed out.

Then I remember sitting up in my hospital bed, frantically looking around, screaming for my dad. "Your daddy's gone sweetie. He died." the nurse explained to me. I just sat there in silence, completely dumbstruck. Then my mom walked into my room. "Your mother will take you home now." she said, gesturing to the scary woman standing infront of me.

I screamed and sobbed, kicking her away. But it was no use. She just picked me up and threw me in the car. "Your asshole of a father deserved to die. Too bad it didn't kill you. Now I still have a mistake in my life." she said as we drove away.

My 4 year old self was furious. "Dad was not an asshole! You're the asshole! And I wish it killed me because then I'd be up in heaven far FAR away from you!" I screamed.

"Don't use language." she replied, quietly, shortly, and then was silent. I had picked up several swears from my mother screaming at everyone. "I hate you." I whispered, wishing I did die.

*end flashback*

"Hey, hey what's wrong?" Harry took my head and twisted it towards him, and wiped some stray tears away from my eyes. Should I tell him? No. He'll only make me go home and he probably doesn't even care anyways. He's only pretending to he nice, he's probably so good at shutting out people because he's famous. I don't trust any of them, I thought.

I just slightly shook my head, uncomfortably shifting in Harry's lap. "Ok, but if you ever want to talk, we'll always be here." He said, and the other boys nodded in agreement.

The car pulled up at the hotel, and a group of security guards circled us, ushering us into the hotel. We reached their hotel room, and Liam opened the door. We walked in, and I saw some girls sitting on a couch.

The girls ran to the boys, hugging and kissing them. One girl screamed, "Harry!" And tackled him in a huge hug. And then I saw her attach her lips to his.
