"When I was four years old, my father tried to run away with me. My mother was abusive, drunken, and smoking all the time.

They never got a divorce, and my father never left, because my mother refused to let me in his custody, and my father knew she wasn't safe.

So he strapped me in the car and we took off. He forgot his seatbelt and a car came speeding behind us, driver dead drunk, and slammed into the back of the car.

The car went flying and slammed into a tree. My father died in the collision, but I was saved. The ambulances came soon after.

I was back in the custody of my mother, earning money to pay for my clothes through babysitting. I babysat a girl named Tiffany, who had terminal cancer. She died about 6 months ago.

So a few weeks ago, I ran away. I was in my car with my mom, and when the car stopped, I ran out.

I hid in the woods, and no one looked for me. It rained really hard one night, so I was walking around looking for a good dry place to stay, and I honestly had no idea what I was thinking.

I was so cold, and I needed a place to keep dry for at least a few minutes and I saw that this big van was unlocked, so I snuck in the trunk to stay for a little bit.

I only meant to stay for a little bit, but I fell asleep. And then you guys found me and took me back here and here I am. I couldn't be more grateful, and I wanted to tell you how thankful I am for letting me stay with you." I finally finished, tears welling up in my eyes.

Niall was the first to make a move. He leaned over and surrounded me in his arms, giving me a huge best hug. I can't stand when someone hugs me when I'm about to cry, because that's when I loose it.

I sobbed into his shoulder, and he hugged me, rocking me back and forth like a small child. He finally pulled away, and lightly pressed a kiss to my cheek.

I smiled. "Thank you." I whispered. Everyone else just sat speechless, still dumbfounded at what I just told them.

I looked over at the girls, and Eleanor had tears in her eyes. Danielle was already crying, and I could see that Perrie was choking down a sob.

"Please don't feel sorry for me," I smiled. The door rang again, and I panicked. Was it the police looking for me? Liam looked at me, concerned, and stood up to answer the door. I grabbed the sides of the couch, and my legs planted hard on the ground, ready to run if it was the police.

"Food!" Liam called, and I relaxed. He placed the boxes of Chinese food on the table, and Louis grabbed the tv remote. Everyone immediatly started grabbing at food, pulling out plates from the kitchen.

I hesitantly took some chicken and ate it, and then filled up a plate. About 20 minutes later, the door flung open, and Harry and Chrissy walked through the door. I almost gagged on my rice at the sight of Chrissy's pepto bismol colored dress, and Ed shot me a glance.

"Hey guys!" Harry said, eyeing the Chinese food on the table. "Want some?" I offered, pushing a box at him. "No thanks Tess, maybe later though." He smiled weakly, and then turned back to Chrissy. "What do you want to do babe?" He asked.

"I think you know what i want to do..." She tried to be seductive, whispering. She has an extremely loud whisper, and everyone else looked at eachother uncomfortably.

"Umm...well we can't do that right now Chris, how about we play a game?" He looked at us, eyes begging for suggestions. "Uh, we could play truth or dare?" Dani piped up.

"Oh! Ok!" She squeaked, and took a seat next to Zayn on the floor. Harry sat next to her, and we formed a circle. The game began and continued for at least an hour. "Harry, truth or dare," Louis smirked.

"Umm...dare?" Beers had been passed around, and the alcohol had made us all more daring. "Aren't these illegal for like half of us in America?" Liam had asked earlier, looking at the bottles. "Yeah, but it's alright. As long as not one goes out, we should be fine." Louis answered, who was legal in america, said as he bought the boxes of beer.

"I dare you to....kiss Tess." He grinned evilly. My jaw dropped, and Ed, sitting on one side of me sent me a worried look. "She's gonna murder you." He leaned over and whispered.

Harry smiled at me and crawled over. "Harry I swear, if you kiss her I will-" Chrissy was cut off as Harry placed his lips on mine. He placed his hand on the side of my face, and I felt an explosion in my stomach. Butterflies and fireworks fired in every direction.

I finally pulled away, and we just looked into each others eyes as he crawled back to his spot.

I finally looked away and I saw Chrissy's eyes alive like fire. "How dare you kiss my boyfriend! Go home! No one wants you here!" She screamed, reaching over and slamming my shoulders. I fell back into the Chinese food, and a chow mein carton flipped into my hair.

My eyes filled up with tears. "Go home...No one wants you here!" The words echoed in my ears. I don't have a home...no one wants me anywhere.

I stood up, noodles, vegetables and beef all still catching in my thick red hair, and ran off. I grabbed my thin jacket and bag as I walked out the door and gently closed it, and took off, sprinting. I could hear shouts coming from the room, and it sounded like Harry's voice.

I ran until i saw an elevator, and stepped in. A woman and a small girl stood next to me. "You have some stuff in your hair," the little girl said. "Thank you, I know.." I smiled weakly, and I fought away the tears in my eyes. "Are you ok darling? You seem kind of...out of it." The mother said. "Well... I just had to leave a bad situation. Nothing like bad bad...just i couldn't be there anymore without saying something I couldn't take back."

"I'm so sorry. Do you need a place to stay and maybe take a shower?" She asked kindly. "Thank you so much, but I can't. I know somewhere I can go." I thanked the woman. "Ok, just stay safe," she smiled. The little girl waved and they stepped off the elevator.

I have no idea where I'm going. I stood in the lobby, and I pulled my phone out of my pocket and went to my photos. I saw 163 pictures in my camera roll of my best friend, Taylor.

She had bright blue eyes and blonde hair. We were always talking, wether it was through call, text, or just hanging out.

She is my other half, and just by looking at those pictures we took together on my phone, I realized how much I missed her.

I walked out of the lobby and out of the hotel, and walked to a drugstore near the hotel. I sat on a small bench and clicked on her number in my phone.

"Hey, you've reached Taylor's cell, I'm not around right now, but I'll be sure to call you back when I get the chance! Bye!" Her answering machine picked up.

I hung up the phone after leaving about a 5 minute long message.

It was three in the morning, and I was surprised she didn't answer. She's usually up that late. Maybe tonight was an early night.

I heard footsteps in my direction and looked up. I saw a curly haired boy staring at me.
