My stomach dropped. He let me sit on his lap and he wiped away my tears and gave me his sweatshirt.

I stared down, realizing I still had on his sweatshirt. The girl had pulled away from Harry, and stared at me. Her eyes seemed to burn holes in my chest, where the "Jack Willis" logo on the purple sweatshirt rested.

"Who the hell is she and why is she wearing your sweatshirt?" She whispered to Harry. She's not the best whisperer I might add, we all could hear her. I blushed, and the other boys sent me remorseful glances.

Harry looked extremely uncomfortable. "Tess? She needed a place to stay for the night, and she was in the rain, and she was cold, so I gave her my sweatshirt." He answered calmly, steadily, as if trying not to upset her.

I nervously peeled off the sweatshirt, and tentatively handed it to Harry.

"Oh. Harry I'm starving, can we get some food?" She whined, and I winced inwardly. She seemed really whiny and annoying.

"Yeah sure babe, let me get ready. Is it ok that Chrissy and I go out?" He asked, and I stifled a laugh. Chrissy? My laugh came out as a strangled cough-choke. Louis smirked at me.

"Yeah of course, have fun." Niall smiled at them. "Ok thanks guys, see you later! Make yourself at home Tess!" He called, and led Tiffany out the door.

As soon as the door closed, and you could hear their footsteps fall down the hall, and Chrissy's annoying voice disappear from earshot, the other girls burst into cheers. "Yes! Yeah buddy oh yes!" One girl with purple hair laughed, dancing around the room. "Perrie!" Zayn called to the purple haired girl. "That's so rude stop it!" He laughed.

"Oh my god Zayn. You guys made us hang out with her all day. You can't expect us to not be excited." The girl with long brown hair said. Louis laughed and wrapped around her waist.

"Great job tolerating her, Tess. She looked like she really wanted to kill you." Lou smirked. Liam motioned us to all sit on a couch.

"Ok, lets introduce ourselves. This is my girlfriend, Danielle," he motioned to a girl with beautiful wavy hair, and she hugged me quickly. "This is Eleanor, Louis' girlfriend, and this is Perrie, Zayn's girlfriend." Liam said, and all the girls hugged me. "That was Christina or 'Chrissy', the she-devil, and I'm single." Niall added, and I laughed.

"Do you guys all hate her?" I asked. "YES." They all answered. "I have no idea what Harry sees in her. She so annoying and needy and clingy and gross. She has a really rich father, and she's just a huge pain in the ass." Danielle explained.

"She thinks she's a perfect princess, but really, she looks and dresses like a Barbie." Perrie added.

"And her voice! It makes me want to gag, I swear." Eleanor moaned. "Girls, don't be mean! I'm sure she's really... wonderful." Louis searched for the right word. "Yeah I doubt it." Niall responded, completely oblivious.

"Niall!" Zayn laughed, playfully slapping him. "I hope you girls weren't like this while she was here!" He added, looking at them. "Of course not! God Zayn, we're not babies." Perrie rolled her eyes.

"Hey do you guys want to get Chinese take out?" Liam asked, in attempt to break the tension. "Yeah sure!" Louis called, and dialed up the local Chinese place.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door. "Should I get it?" I asked, because I was closest to the door. Zayn nodded and I pulled open the heavy door.

"Hello? Is this where the boys of One Direction are? Help a fellow ginger out," a young man, early twenties with unruly ginger hair looked at me. "Y-yes they're right in there." I stuttered, pointing into the room. I was extremely nervous he was a police looking for me.

"Boys!" He called, striding past me. I followed him into the room to see him hugging everyone. "And who is this young lady? My name's Ed by the way." He smiled at me. "Hi, my names Tess." I smiled weakly. He seemed to notice. "Is there something wrong?" He frowned.

"Oh... I'm fine." I forced a smile. "'Fine' is a word that can hide many emotions. If you are okay with me asking, I would like to know what's wrong so we could all help you. You seem like a lovely young lady. But if you don't feel comfortable with us, you don't have to." He looked directly into my eyes, and he seemed extremely sincere and caring.

"Well, if you really want to hear. It's not a pretty story, I swear." I frowned. Everyone looked at me intently as I opened my mouth to speak.
