I reached where I had left the Magiv-Speaker and Gray. I had left Erza a while back, she had business to attend to. I gripped the Laergulpen scale harder and crawled up onto land.

Gray stood up and came over to me. I lifted the scale for them to see and the Magic-Speaker took it and examined it. She nodded "It's the scale, come here, I'll give you legs."

She put the scale away and lifted a jar of a purple potion and a sea green dress. I raised an eyebrow "You won't be wearing anything when the spell finishes taking affect."

I nodded and the Magic-Speaker looked at Gray "Don't you at least have the decency to turn around?" She frowned at him and he blushed. He went farther inland and stayed turned away.

The Magic-Speaker came closer and started to rub the potion on my tail. I didn't feel anything at first then my tail started to hurt as it split in two. I bit my lip to keep from crying out.

And just like it started, it stopped. I looked down and saw two human legs instead of my blue tail. I stood and the Magic-Speaker quickly put the dress on me. I walked experimentally and wobbled.

She held me up and we slowly walked towards Gray "Gray," I called out and he turned around. His eyes widened and he smiled "You look lovely, Juvia," "What do you think, Prince? Did this old lady do well?"

Gray nodded "Thank you Hedgewitch." She waved it off "It was nothing, but I request you do invite me to the wedding." I blushed and so did Gray. The Magic-Speaker laughed "It was obvious, I'd be mad if you didn't get married right away."

I looked at Gray and walked towards him. I put my head on my shoulder and held his arm close. I smiled at the Magic-Speaker "Thank you Magic-Speaker." "Oh, if you're going to get invite me to the wedding you should know my name."

She took out a piece of paper and write on it. She gave it to me and it said "Porlyusica? That's your name?" Porlyusica nodded "Yes, don't wear it out."

I nodded "Of course not, expect an invitation." Gray looked at me "Guess I should introduce you to my father, officially." I nodded and we left Porlyusica, waving.

I now wore a long, light blue dress with a bejewelled bodice and strands of fabric keeping it tight around me but it loosened around me under the bodice and swerved like the ocean itself. The soft silk made me feel like a Princess.

Which I was, I was the mermaid princess and now the human one, being betrothed to the prince and all. I smiled to myself in the mirror. The wall mirror stood in a room I now shared with the prince.

My feet were comfortably covered in light blue flats to match the dress. I looked towards the door as it opened "Princess Juvia, the prince requests your company for a walk."

I walked towards the door gracefully "Thank you, where is he?" "In the eastern garden Princess," "Thank you again, you may go." I was anxious to hear what Gray wanted from me.

When I said we were betrothed, it is more of a fake betrothed. It was obvious we were going to get married but Gray hadn't officially proposed to me yet. That's why I was excited, maybe today was the day he would finally ask.

I stopped in front of the mirror one last time. My ruby red lipstick was in place, my blue eye shadow well done, my hair in a classic but fancy style. I was happy and ready to go.

I walked out into the hallway and towards the eastern garden. The servants that passed said hello and I said hello back. When I reached the garden I slowed and went outside.

I saw no one but didn't give up hope; I kept looking. I finally saw a figure standing near the cliff overlooking the ocean. They stared up at the stars, the bright stars. I marvelled at them for a moment then headed towards the figure.

As I got closer I could indeed see it was Gray. I stood next to him "The stars sure are beautiful, aren't they?" Gray just nodded and didn't say anything for a long while before he finally spoke.

"Though, they aren't as beautiful as the woman next to me," I smiled at his cheesiness and looked at him. He looked at me with those dark eyes "Juvia, I'm glad you decided to join me."

"How could I not?" I put a hand on his arms which he held behind his back. I watched him as he again turned his gaze to the stars, but I could tell now he wasn't just looking at them, he was searching for something.

"What are you looking for, Gray?" He sighed contently "My cue," I waited with him until a burst of light flew across the sky. And another. And another. Until the sky was full of them.

They made a flying sound but then everything was quiet for two seconds, then boom! All of the balls of light blew up and made words in the sky. Gray turned towards me and got down on one knee.

"I know it's kind of late but, Juvia, will you marry me?" The sky echoed his question as the balls of fire spelled out the same words he said 'Will you marry me?' I looked at him. I smiled at him, his face lit up by the fire in the sky.

I felt tears on my face "Yes, Gray, I will marry you." He stood up and wiped my tears away. He leaned in and kissed me sweetly. I could feel all of his love in one moment.

We stood in the light of the fire, betrothed for real and soon to be married in the greatest wedding known to this land.
