Kirito closed his only suitcase of his meager belongings and slung it over his shoulder. He took one final look at the small motel room that served as his shelter for the past three weeks. While he was relieved that he was finally leaving, he knew that his days in Remnant would only get more arduous from here.

But that's not to say the past few days haven't been rough already.

The day after he had met with Ruby and Yang, Kirito had been hard at work trying to figure out a way to deal with his aura deficiency. Although he had a plethora of special resources at his disposal, finding the right chant to conjure up an aura substitute was another story.

Considering the fact that aura was essentially just a person's life force, Kirito knew that using the luminous element was mandatory. However all of his attempts at trying to apply the element to his person always ended up in either him getting burned or blinded. He knew that another element had to be involved but figuring out what that element was and how to implement said element was difficult to execute.

"If there was a spell that could protect you from physical attacks and heal you at the same time, why haven't I seen it used already?" Kirito muttered

If it was a System Control Authority issue, it still should have not been a problem. Although Kirito couldn't access his Stacia Window, he knew that his in-game avatar should have leveled up quite a bit after his battle with the Administrator. In theory, he should have more than enough Authority to conjure up an Aura substitute spell.

The boy sighed. In any case, there was no way he could figure out a spell in time for the entrance ceremony at Beacon. If anything, he should avoid coming into contact with anything that could hurt him.

"This isn't the time to be worrying about things you can't control," He thought to himself "Just worry about it later."

He had already informed Ozpin of his enrollment to Beacon a couple days earlier, to much of the Headmaster's pleasure. The old man informed the boy that he needn't worry about his enrollment fee, books, or even the uniform cost. He already took care of it himself.

"I also wrapped up the forms for your citizenship and your identification ID." Ozpin said "Your papers and ID will arrive in the mail once the school year starts."

"Right...thanks." Kirito responded warily

Just as the two were finishing up their meeting together, Ozpin motioned for Kirito to stay a bit longer.

"Pardon me, Mr. Kirito but I forgot to mention that I prepared a gift for you to celebrate your enrollment." He told the boy

Reaching under his desk, the man pulled out a fairly sized parcel and placed it in front of Kirito. The boy raised an eyebrow.

"What's this?" He inquired

The silver haired man motioned for him to open it without saying a word. As Kirito peaked inside the package, his eyes widened at the sight of a new outfit along with some other miscellaneous gear. A new spark of interest emerged as he began to survey the items inside the box.

"How do you like it?" Ozpin asked, with a smile

"It's...it's good." Kirito answered, trying to be as nonchalant as possible

The man chuckled and instructed him to try it on. Kirito quickly went to get changed with the same enthusiasm as a child on at the dawn of Christmas day. His new outfit consisted of a long sleeved, single-breasted over-shirt. The torso of the shirt was a darkish grey while the sleeves were given a soft, jet black color. In addition, the sleeves were rolled up in order to make sure there was space for his fingerless black gloves. He wore two belts on his waist, a black one for holding his sword and the other light grey one was for holding other items that he needed. His the ends of his matte grey pants were cut off so that they only went down to his ankles. Although they were exposed, this deficiency was offset by the black combat boots. In order to top everything off, he was also provided with some light weight armor pieces. A small light grey breastplate, as well as matching arm, shin, and shoulder guards.
