"Kazuto."

The boy didn't flinch

"Kazuto!"

A small groan escaped from his mouth

"Kazuto if you don't wake up I'm going through your computer!"

Kirito quickly sat up from his bed with his eyes still half closed.

"Sugu get out of my room I'm getting up!" He mumbled as loudly as he could

He threw a pillow at the shadowy figure standing close to his bed, only for it to plop harmlessly onto the ground.

"Sugu?" He called, slowly coming to his senses "Wait where'd you..."

As his vision got clearer, he found himself back in the small, dingy motel room that he had been staying at. The silhouette of his older sister had disappeared without a trace. The boy let out a groan as he flopped back into his bed sheets. He wasn't sure if he should relieved or disappointed that he was dreaming.

'It's not like she was going to find my folder anyways.' He thought

Two weeks had passed since he had woken up in this new world and had his meeting with Ozpin. Most of that time was spent exploring the city and getting accustomed to it's culture. The whole modern atmosphere was vastly different than the old and rural feel of the towns in the Underworld, which was both comforting and terrifying at the same time. But at least he had a proper toilet to use now.

He had also been reading up more about the world he was transferred to, which he found out to be dubbed "Remnant." A world comprised of four kingdoms, Atlas, Mistral, Vacuo, and Vale. Vale, the kingdom that Kirito had ended up in, sat on the northeastern tip of the continent of Saunus right in the middle of the other three kingdoms. Out of all the other kingdoms, Vale stood out above the rest as the beacon of peace and prosperity. Each kingdom has it's own huntsman academy, Beacon Academy for Vale, Atlas Academy for Atlas, Haven Academy for Mistral, and Shade Academy for Vacuo. The reason for these huntsman academies was so that they can train huntsmen and huntresses in order to defend against monstrous creatures called Grimm, which were a whole other topic on their own.

But despite all of his research, Kirito still hadn't gotten the slightest clue on how to log out.

'Everywhere I look just leads to dead ends.' He thought as he rolled out of bed

Ozpin's offer still lingered in the back of his mind, which was bothering him more and more as the due date grew closer. Joining the academy would be a better way to gain more information about Remnant, how it worked, and most importantly, how to get out of it. However, keeping a low profile at school would prove to be an incredibly difficult task due to multiple factors.

After learning about semblances and aura from Ozpin, Kirito had done a little digging and learned a bit more about what they do and how they work. Aura is generally used for blocking fatal attacks and healing minor wounds but once they receive enough damage, they break. This allows for the user to be wide open for being severely wounded or even killed.

There was no doubt in Kirito's mind that he had aura. He was a living person after all and aura was supposed to be the manifestation of one's soul. However, actually getting his aura to work was a different story. During the first week that he spent in Remnant, he also performed various tests to see if his aura would actually do what it was meant to do.

All of the tests that he tried, proved to be failures. It wasn't until he had his entire body rammed by a semi-truck and getting multiple bones in his body broken was when he figured that it was safe to assume that he would not be able to benefit from aura.
