"HER".

I walked the long corridor, playing with my fingers as I heard my name be called by my boss a few moments ago. I wasn't usually called into his office, only for major things. It should be nothing to worry about.

I reached his room with a gentle knock on the door. Feeling timid as i look over at him, entering the room more as he gives me a sort of reassuring smile. "You called me?" I stood with my hands behind my back. "Yes, we have a new case" I nodded as he started to look down at what seemed to be documents. "We want you to lead it."

"Me? You want...me?" My mouth gaped open. "Yes, we want you, we feel as if you would be the most suitable one for this, and take this as a promotion. You've done well these past 2 years and i haven't really applauded you on it, well done." He reached from his chair and patted my shoulder, looking at me as he handed me the documents. "This is your case now agent. Please don't make me regret my decision."

I came to my senses again as i nod gently, holding the documents in one hand and a pen in the other. "Thank you." I turned around as i begin grinning, finally, i get to lead a case. This is amazing.

I walked back over to my desk/ office sort of area, laying the documents on the counter. Thinking to myself in the process, Lets see. Lets find out more about this woman?

"Russian assassin?" I widen my eyes a little as i nod my head slowly, reading everything else about her. "Oksana also known as Villanelle works as an assassin for THE TWELVE, she has been around the Paris area and has killed over 4 people this week, her usually methods are strangling or stabbing, she also usually leaves clues." I hesitate for a bit before turning to my collegue, shuffling over to her as i show her this. "Crazy right? Do you mind if you can erm.. help me? I don't wanna do this alone."

She looks at me with slight discomfort on her face as she sighs, looking at her cold coffee. "Fine, i have nothing better to do" She smiles lightly as she neatly stacks the documents in a pile, i squeal a little as i shuffle back in my chair over to my desk again making sure to not annoy her too much.
