Hello this was an idea I had in my head for awhile and I don't really think it's too good but I'll post it anyway because I like Oikawa so :) Also from what I've seen I think that schools in Japan don't actually have kids switch classes every period and that the teachers switch instead but let's pretend that's not the case for this story.  Enjoy! :)

"This class is so boring, and I can see Mr. Young's bald spot every time he turns around, it's really distracting :("

You laughed as you read the new message on your desk.  It was paired with a small doodle of a snake.  The corners of your lips curled as your eyes scanned over the many other animal doodles paired with small notes.

"How are you today stranger?"

"I'm having a painfully boring day.  What about you, how's your day Mr. Mystery?"

"My day has been going swimmingly, well except for Miss Lia yelling at me in math today :( glad to know your day was good though!"

"Oh you have Miss Lia for math?  I have Whalen, I'm glad too cause I've heard Lia is a bit mean :0"

"Yes she is mean, but it still beats this boring class.  I swear that Mr. Young is the most boring person ever :/"

"Really?  I actually quite enjoy this class and Mr. Young really isn't THAT boring"

You didn't think anything of it when you drew the first doodle of a bear on your desk, pairing it with a little speech bubble that said "sup."  You figured it probably would've been washed off by the end of the day, so naturally when a small drawing of a dog along with a "hi" appeared near your doodle the next day, you were a little shocked.

It's been two weeks since then, your desk now littered with all kinds of notes and small animal drawings.  The mystery person you seemed to talk with everyday never failed to reply, thus leaving your seat more graphite than desk.  You replied to the newest note as you tuned out the class around you.

"He totally does have a bald spot!  I can't believe I never noticed that.  Your really are observant Mr. Mystery ;)"

"If he's so observant than how come he hasn't figured out who you are yet?"

The whispered question pulled you out of your head.  Your eyes met with your classmates gaze.

"Because I haven't even told him my name, duh."

He rolled his eyes with a sigh, giving you a bored look.

"How long are the two of you going to keep that up?  I mean, you've talked to this guy for two weeks and still haven't even asked his name?  And I'm even more surprised by how your desk hasn't been cleaned off by now."

Your teeth clenched at the thought of all the playful messages between you and this stranger being completely erased.  Sure you didn't know his name, or even what he looked like but the messages on the desk gave you comfort.  Rereading them and writing a new one everyday felt like part of your daily routine at this point, and the thought of not being able to look back at all the words made your heart ache a bit, like a part of your friendship with this mystery person would be erased with it.  As a sigh escaped your lips, the bell rang.

"Do you even have any idea who he could be?"

Yahaba's soft voice rang through your ears as you opened your bento. You shook your head at the brunette.
