"OH MY GOD, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" Scarlett gushed as she stood behind her aunt, watching as Lucas held the proton blaster up in front of him as if he were aiming.
"He just looks so adorable, doesn't he?" Sue used the same tone as Scarlett, holding up the camera and taking a picture.
"Yes!"
"No!"
Scarlett and Erica said in unison, Erica earning a glare from Scarlett. "He looks like a doofus." Erica crossed her arms in front of her chest.
"Erica!" Her mother scolded, sending a look that could kill. She turned back towards Lucas, taking another picture, "Adorable, baby! Just adorable."
Erica grimaced as Lucas flexed, "God. You are such a nerd."
"Shut up." Lucas said to his sister.
"No wonder you only hang out with boys." Erica sassed.
"Erica!" Sue scolded the girl once again.
"Just the facts!"
Scarlett nodded, agreeing with Erica's statement. Lucas looked at her for backup but caught her nodding, staring at the girl in disbelief. "What? She's got a point. And I'm only saying that because I know what you did yesterday."
Erica's head snapped in Scarlett's direction, "What'd he do yesterday?"
"Nothing." Lucas said quickly, staring between the two with wide eyes.
"Was it weird?" Erica pushed.
"Oh, yeah. Beyond." Scarlett nodded mischievously, a very nervous Lucas begging her not to tell Erica. "Should I tell her Lucas?"
"Please don't." Lucas stood pin straight, shaking his head vigorously. He knew Erica would spill everything to her friends, and it would eventually get back to Max and ruin the sliver of a chance he had. But Scarlett wouldn't tell anyone, not even Erica. But her threats still scared him.
"Alright that's enough, Scarlett, Erica." Sue glared at the two. Scarlett put her hands up in surrender, not continuing the seemingly playful fight. Erica mouthed, 'nerd' towards Lucas, causing him to shake his head in an unamused manner. "Oh my god. I love this costume, keep it up." Mrs. Sinclair snapped another picture of her son.
Scarlett checked her watch, "Alright Venkman. It's time to go to school. Get in your ghostmobile or whatever." Scarlett pat his back, urging him towards his bike.
