(Quick preface! This is not a Greek Mythology retelling OF Medusa. It's a fanfiction of "Fairytale Green", a book that was on Wattpad but has since been published where the Male love interest calls her "Medusa" as a nickname. I don't want to disappoint anyone looking for Medusa retellings, so yeah. Sorry if that's what you thought it was!)

If you have not read Fairytale Green, well... to that I can only say, I'm deeply sorry. But, if you want to read this book, I am not posting chapters in order, so the story may not make sense to you, though Stone is one hell of a character to write for, so obviously you can check it out if you'd like.

Hello!

I want to share a brief sentimental message here: I wanted to participate in this friendly comment-section-competition of Fairytale Green because it has a very special place in my heart. I have been reading this novel since chapter 5 came out, and it has dug it's way into many aspects of my life. Everywhere I look, I see Fairytale Green.

Every time I see something green, I wonder if it's the exact shade of Fairytale Green, and I live in a National Park surrounded by nature and green scenes in Canada, so this is pretty much a daily occurrence.

I then wonder, when I read a book, if Ella had read it, and if so, what her opinion on it would be. She makes me nostalgic for a time I have not yet experienced in my life, though I see myself in Ella in sooo many ways, even in publishing a book before graduating high school (don't look for it please, it's trash, I wrote it at fourteen and published at sixteen hahaha).

I can relate to Ella in many ways, and it's always comforting to recognize a kindred soul. I am now out of my writing degree, and looking for my new adventure, and this book was with me during a very tumultuous time.

On that note, we turn to dear Stone. (Where tf are youuu?)

I started with one little snippet, and I only intended something short and sweet, but instead, this absolute beast (in the sense of size, not greatness) of a scene emerged. I also love designing covers, so in case I get bitten by an insect named Lurch, I made a cover for something thematically "Stone", so what better than "Medusa"?

I found a dope public domain image for the cover, and I do not claim the rights to the intellectual work of KaylaSilverss. This is simply fan appreciation of a job well done.

Read on, dear reader, read on.
