To which it's cleaning day at the Bang household, and every kid, save for Seungmin, try their best to get out of it.
Note: it doesn't work.
Minho woke up feeling refreshed. Today was cleaning day, his favorite day of the whole damn week. It was Seungmin's as well, and Minho was just glad that one of these hellions get it. Speaking of hellions, he has to get them up. Yippee. He swung out of bed and into the hallway, gratefully running into his only Hyung.
"Good morning, Minho." He greeted kindly, and Minho responded just the same. "Can you get started on breakfast please? Last I checked, it's my turn to wake up the hell hounds." Chan smiled wearily and nodded, sending a look of pity towards his oldest kid.
Yeah, Minho was gonna need that look of pity. None of these kids were morning people. Jeongin would cry if he was woken up too early, Felix would refuse to speak any type of Korean, Seungmin would more or less resort to violent tendencies when woken in the morning, Jisung becomes unbearable when he's tired, Hyunjin slouches around miserable and mad, and Changbin doesn't wake up until he feels like it.
Minho decided to test his luck, and started with the youngest. Minho gravitated towards Jeongin's room, and softly opened the door. And then stopped. Dead in his tracks.
His floor was littered with legos, and all of the elders shoes were thrown to the other side of the room, out of Minho's reach. He wouldn't make it three steps without wishing death upon himself. Dammit, this kid was smart. He's kinda proud, this was something he would definitely do. He would laugh if it wasn't for the fact that this was deliberately a trap set for him.
This kid was ready to inflict the worst kind of pain on him without even thinking about it, just to get out of cleaning day? Damn. Minho chuckled, amused despite the actual situation, and snuck a picture of the messy room, and turned on his heel to steal some of Chan's slippers.
Once returning from his shoe-theft, he took sight of some very big changes. 1. Innie was no longer in his bed, and 2. All the Lego's were thrown to the side, forming a path towards the door. Did this kid really run out of here? Hm. Maybe he went to the bathroom. Minho shook his head and walked out of the room and down the hall, stopping outside of Felix's room.
He opened the door, and quickly melted at the sight before him. Changbin had Felix laying on top of his chest, the kids face contorted into something of a grimace. There were tear tracks on his face, and he was grabbing fistfuls of Binnie's shirt. "Sunshine? What's wrong, baby?" Minho asked, worried that the kid was hurt. Felix whimpered and turned his head.
"He doesn't feel good. He's been clinging to me since I came in here. Said his head hurts." Minho cooed in sympathy, and softly petted his blonde hair. "Oh poor baby. Hold on bubba, hyung will go get some medicine." Minho kissed the side of his head, and quickly ruffled Changbin's hair as a silent 'thank you' and quickly left the room. Minho rushed to their medicine cabinet, and ignored a suspicious Chan. He needed to worry about Felix, not about Chan, who was putting something on top of their highest shelf with a chair. Not even Hyunjin could reach it. Minho ignored him and grabbed an Advil and some water and rushed back to Felix's room.
And once again, he stumbled into an empty room.
By now Minho started to understand that there was something going on. "What the hell?" Felix was just whimpering in pain, and now he's no where to be seen. Minho laid the Advil and water on the nightstand and quickly strode out of the room. He was starting to get annoyed. All of this just to get out of cleaning the damn house they destroy? Brats.
Minho once again stopped outside of a child's bedroom. Minho removed any look of annoyance from his features, and softly padded into the room. Minho felt a small smile creep on his face at the sight of his little brother. Seungmin was laying peacefully on his side, the puppy stuffy Chan gifted him in his arms as he subconsciously nibble on its ear.
