Minho wakes up sick. He feels terrible, and unitentionally shares that with his younger brothers. Chan comes home in the nick of time to set his oldest kid back into place.
WARNING! SPANKING OF AN ADULT AND MENTIONS OF ALCOHOL!
It was rare that Minho would wake up in a bad mood, and today seemed to be one of those rare mornings to where he cursed his six kids to hell and back for being so loud. Usually, despite popular belief, Minho loves waking up to Felix snuggling on his chest begging him to wake up and watch Bluey. He loves having Jisung and Hyunjin fight over which one gets to hug Minnie Hyung first thing in the morning.
He loves having Chan walk in the room, sit beside him on his bed and run his hand through his hair and kiss his forehead, dutifully reminding Minho that just because he was the second oldest, doesn't mean that he wasn't considered Chan's kid. He loves that sometimes, when Minho has had a long week and just can't seem to wake up, Chan will sing to him and let him sleep for a few more hours.
And while you did not here this from him, he loves when Chan picks him up and takes care of him like he does with the kids.
Today was not one of those slow, sweet mornings. No, this morning, Minho felt like death warmed over in the fucking Microwave and he's almost absolutely certain that he'd be perfectly fine with being in a coma right now. He was sweating like crazy, his head had made its mission to possibly kill him, he was disoriented and nauseated, and it put him in such a bad mood that he almost couldn't stop the bark of anger that wanted to escape him when Seungmin came bounding in the room.
"Minnie Hyung, Minnie Hyung! Wake up, wake up!"
Seungmin was shaking Minho fiercely, almost as if he thought if Minho was moving violently from side to side, he'd wake up perfectly fine. That's not what happened, and to avoid potentially getting in trouble for yelling at his little brother for no reason, he softly pushed him to the side.
"I'm up. Now stop yelling and go eat something. I'll be there in a minute."
And usually, Seungmin would say something along the lines of 'yes Eomma', or 'can I help you cook', but it seemed like the puppy's sole purpose today would be to make his headache, and in turn, his mood, worse. Seungmin whined, because apparently Minho wasn't moving fast enough for him, and tried to scurry into his bed and plop down on Minhos chest.
"But hyungggg!! You hafta get up, now!"
"Seungmin. Go to the kitchen and eat."
"Now, hyung! Get up now!"
He whined loudly, right in Minho's ear. Minho grit his teeth, just barely controlling his anger as he sat up with the boy in his arms. Seungmin was smirking mischievously, evidently very pleased with himself. Minho wanted nothing more than to wipe that little smirk off his face.
So he did.
Before the puppy could blink, he was tipped over Minhos knee.
SMACK SMACK SMACK SMACK SMACK
"OW! Hyung—what? Why-I didn't do anything! Stop it!"
"You do not wake up anyone like that in the mornings, Bang Seungmin! It is rude and disrespectful and if you keep it up, we can go through some morning spankings until you remember how to stop."
Minho didn't plan on this to be a full fledged punishment, so he only landed ten more smacks, but Seungmin was crying all the same. Minho couldn't find it in himself to feel bad about it. Maybe that should've been his first warning of how his day would go.
