Chapter Thirteen-Explanation

You walk up to your room. You feel a pair of hands grab your waist. You turn around to see Eddie.
"Hello doll."
"Hello love."
Eddie kisses you on the forehead and you continue to walk to your room.
"Hey, so, what happened earlier? When I came up and you were crying." Eddie asks.
"I don't really wanna talk about it." You answer.
"Are you sure, princess? I think it would be better for you to get it off your chest." Eddie suggests.
"Fine. So, do you know a girl named Macy, from school?"
"Yeah I think i've seen her around. Never met her though." Eddie tells you.
"Ah, okay. So, Macy, She was my BEST friend since before I left school. She was the person who encouraged me to actually go to your D&D campaigns because she knew I had a crush on you, and also knew I was terrified to talk to you. She was one of my favorite people in the world. And today at the mall, I saw her! Dead, I saw her dead. When I went to hug Dustin I looked over his shoulder and there she was. There wasn't even an opportunity she was alive because she was fucking ripped in half." You tell Eddie.
"I'm so sorry sweetheart. I never knew she meant that much to you. I'm so sorry you lost her and if I can do literally anything to help I will." Eddie says while frowning.
"Thank you love." You say while tearing up.
"Don't cry doll. It will be okay." Eddie tells you as he whipes the tears from your eyes. "We should go to bed. You're obviously stressed and maybe sleep will help." Eddie recommends.
You lay down on the bed and Eddie lays behind you, holding you in his arms and playing with your hair.
"Good night, I love you." Eddie says while kissing your forehead.
"I love you to Eddie." You say while falling asleep.
