~Back to the story....

Warning! If you don't like to read about abuse, just skip to the end and I'll write a short summary for ya. K?

Kachina's POV

Pain. I could feel it in my bones and I was sure some of them were broken. I could feel the blood dripping down the side of my face from where he punched me. I spat out the blood from my mouth and stared up at the monster before me.

Nathaniel...

His fist came at me again and I couldn't dodge it in my condition. I turned my head and coughed up more blood. I could hear him snickering at my pain.

"What's the matter, kid? Can't take a punch? From what I heard, you're supposed to be powerful for your age," He said before pushing me to the ground and kicking me in the stomach.

I wrapped my arms around stomach before coughing up black blood.

"Would ya look at that? It seems like the wolfsbane in your system won't let you heal," He mocked me as he raised my head by pulling on my hair. He took out a knife and chopped off a large amount of my hair.

"No please...Stop," I croaked out as I held my stomach. He just sighed before shaking his head at me and dropping me on the floor.

"You just never learn, do ya? I guess I have to teach you a lesson," He clicked his tongue at me before walking out.

I close my eyes and leaned back on the ground, but winced as I felt my side hurt. Pain has become my friend and enemy. It keeps me going, but it kills me more each time.

Nathaniel walked back in with a cart. "I just thought that since you have no toys, I could bring some for you," He stopped a few feet away from me and turned the cart towards me.

"We have different types of wolfsbane, fresh silver bullets, a shock machine, and, my personal favorite, the blow torch!" He exclaimed as he took out everything.

"Nathaniel! That's enough! If you keep torturing her, she'll die," Eric walked in with an angry look on his face.

"All right! Sheesh! I'll wait until tomorrow. She'll be healed by then," Nathaniel looked at the antidote Eric had in his hand.

"We need her alive. She just needs to crack, not die," Eric said sternly before shooing his brother out. He turned back to me before smiling softly.

"Hey, I'm here to help, okay? I'm just gonna give you an antidote so you can heal," Eric held the antidote up with one hand while raising the other in defense. He tried to move closer to me, but I whimpered and tried to move away.

"It's okay. I'm here to help," Eric whispered and held out his hand. Hesitantly, I reached out and held his hand as if saying 'okay'.

"I'm just gonna give you a shot, okay?" Eric said as he crouched next to me. I nodded slowly. He gave me the shot and stood up. He ran his hand down his face before sighing.

"I'm sorry I can't help you, but I'll try. You won't die on my watch," Eric whispered before giving me a genuine smile and leaving.

I laid down on the floor as best as I could and closed my eyes, praying that I could sleep tonight because I knew I'll need it tomorrow.

Third Person POV

The next day Kachina received a whipping as her wake up call. Her screams were heard throughout the house of the hunters. Eric was upstairs in the dining room, glaring at his cup of water and closing his eyes each time he heard her scream.

His mother, Suzie, kept humming a tune as she made breakfast and giggling when she heard Kachina's screams. His father, Brom, was cleaning his weapons in the living room.

We hunt those who hunt us. What a stupid code, Eric thought as he glared at the table. He didn't agree with hunting and all of that, but he did learn how to defend himself. Eric tried to stay away from killing the supernatural, but his family were all for the killing, taming, and torturing.

Finally, Kachina stopped screaming and it went silent.

Down below in the basement, Nathaniel was laughing at the girls' misery. Kachina had long slash marks on her back that weren't healing because of the wolfsbane dripping from the whip. Her skin was peeling from her back and pieces of her skin were on the floor.

"Enough of that, yeah? I think you stained my shirt, you little brat. We'll move on to marking your skin with a special mark. Now where's that blow torch?" Nathaniel placed the whip on the cart and took out the blow torch. Kachina cried out as she tried to move away, but her injuries were hurt too much for her to move.

"Oh wait! I should probably knock you out cold before I start. Don't want you moving as I mark your skin," Nathaniel said as he got a needle full of a orange liquid.

"Wait! What is that? No wait! Please," Kachina tried to move, but at last she couldn't. Nathaniel quickly injected the needle at her neck and the last thing Kachina saw was him smirking at her.

⚠ It's over. Basically, Nathaniel (18) has no emotions whatsoever and tortured Kachina when she was ten years old. His brother, Eric (13), doesn't agree with the code, we hunt those who hunt us. Eric is the only one in his family that actually has human emotions and is pained when he hears Kachina's screams. He can't do anything about it because he knows his family will kill him along with Kachina. Kachina is knocked out cold because Nathaniel is going to mark her skin.

I hate doing this to Kachina. I hate writing about it, but it does something in the future so yeah... Eric is played by Daniel Skye. Nathaniel is played by someone douchey.
