I woke up confused. I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes and examined my surroundings, trying to remember where the hell I was. Then, it clicked. Five and I explained the apocalypse situation to Vanya, and she told us we could sleep in her living room for the night. I took the couch and Five slept on the floor. Speaking of Five, where was he?

I sighed and climbed off of Vanya's couch. I took a few steps in her small apartment towards the kitchen and put on a pot of coffee.

"Five?" Vanya called from the hallway. I spun around and made eye contact with her.

    "Hi there," I greeted.

    "Hey... Where's Five?" Vanya asked.

"No idea. I'm sure he'll be back though." The coffee pot's timer went off and I poured two cups of coffee, passing one to Vanya. She took a sip and we sat in awkward silence for a moment.

"So, how long were you in the apocalypse with him?" Vanya nervously inquired. I chuckled lightly before taking a small sip of my coffee.

"I wasn't in the apocalypse with him..." I took a moment to think of a creative lie, knowing that Five probably wanted to tell his family what he had done himself, "I was a part of a group that helped him get out." That wasn't a total lie, it just wasn't the truth.

    "Oh," Vanya meekly responded.

"Five told me a lot about you," I stated.

    "He did?" Vanya smiled.

"Yeah. He said you were a gifted violinist." I finished off my cup of coffee and refilled it.

    "He's overselling me there."

"Five isn't the kind of person to oversell someone's abilities."

    "Yeah, I guess you're right."
    "Do you still play?"

"I do..." Something dawned on Vanya, "Shit, I have a lesson in ten minutes." I poured the remnant of my coffee down her sink and rinsed my cup out.

"I'll get out of your hair. Thank you for letting me stay the night, I appreciate it." I gave her a small wave before exiting her front door.

After an hour of wandering around the city and doing some light shoplifting, I knocked on the door of The Umbrella Academy. I impatiently tapped my foot as I waited for someone in that god-forsaken mansion to answer the door. I heard the click of a lock and the door creaked open.

    "Ms. Y/n," Pogo pleasantly greeted.

    "Hi Pogo," I replied.

"To what do we owe the pleasure?" Pogo held the door open for me to enter.

"I'm looking for my buddy, Five," I stepped into the entryway of the Umbrella Academy and Pogo closed the door behind me, "Is he here?"

"I believe he is speaking with Klaus upstairs," Pogo informed me.

    "Thank you, Pogo."

"Of course, Ms. Y/n." I nodded at him and headed up the academy's stairs. I wandered down the halls before I spotted Five and Klaus talking in a random bedroom.

"I can't believe you didn't even bother to leave a note," I teased as I leaned in the doorway of the room. Five and Klaus turned in my direction; they seemed surprised.

"Oh, Y/n, we were just talking about you," Klaus commented, "Your time in Athens sounds lovely."

"You told him about Athens?" I questioned with shock. Why would he tell Klaus about Athens?
