I just got home from school and the first thing I did was lay down on my bed. I'm so freaking tired. As I was laying down I slowly drifted off to sleep and woke up about 2 hours later.

When I woke up I changed and went done to the kitchen because that's where everyone was. I saw Ava watching t.v, dad and Shelly were at the kitchen table playing uno and talking while Madison was pouring herself a bowl a cereal. "Oh mom I forgot to ask, can I got to a party tomorrow night? People say it's gonna be so fun." Madison asked Shelly. I yawned and walked over to the pantry to grab some cookies. "Yeah sure you can. And you should take Rachel with you, It'll be a great way for her to make friends." She said very enthusiastically. "That is a great idea Shelly, and they'll get to spend time together too." Dave added with a smile. Madison started whining and said "No ew! She'll make me look like a weirdo!" I glared at her and said "I'm pretty sure you're doing a great job with that on your own."

Madison got really mad and yelled "UGH! MOM! I am not taking her with me!" "Don't tell at your mother, Maddie. If we say you guys are going together then you will go together." Dave said with a very father like tone. He's been living with Madison and her mom since Madison was like 4 so I get why he acts like her dad sometimes. Sometimes I wish he would act like that with me. I know it's dumb and I should be happy that he doesn't yell at me or get mad at me, ever. But he treats me like a guest. Not like a daughter. I mean when you really think about it he's not like my dad at all. Just a sperm donor. 

Madison agreed to take me with her. 2 hours later everyone went to sleep. I wasn't tired tho so I went up to my room and opened my suitcase to find my secret stash. "I need to find a new dealer before I run out." I thought to myself. I grabbed a joint and a lighter then went outside. When I got outside I saw Giovanni sitting outside as well. I felt kinda awkward but I ignored it. I sat on the grass outside the house, lit my joint and put my headphones on. About 3 minutes later I felt like someone was behind me even tho I thought I was just imagining it I turned around and Giovanni was standing behind me. I took my headphones out of my ears and Hid my joint behind my back. "Can I helps you?" I asked. "You don't have to hide it, I already saw it." He said with a straight face. I wasn't sure if I could trust him not to snitch but at this point I didn't care. He sat down on the grass next to me. I wasn't sure how to feel about it. I've never spoken face to face with this guy before. Why is he next to me?

I stopped overthinking and looked up to face him. "Want a hit?" I asked. He looked at me with a hint of disgust on his face and said "No." I shrugged and looked up at the stars. He then laid down and put his hands under his head. I turned my head to look at him, He was looking up at the stars. I put my blunt out on my wrist and laid down next to him. I could feel his eyes on me. I pointed at the sky and said "Those stars make a cow." He looked up to where I was pointing at and said "No they don't." I smiled when he said that. It felt refreshing for some reason. I could feel his eyes on me again. "You have a nice smile." He said. I turned my head to look face him and said "Thanks." He looked back up at the sky, so did I.
                               
                       20 minutes later
I started getting a little tired so I sat up and looked at him "We should go back inside. It's getting late." He sat up and checked his phone. "You're right, it's late." He said as he got up. I got up too and he started walking away toward his house. Before he got too far I said "Goodnight." He stopped and looked at me but didn't say anything. He then turned his head and kept walking.

When I got inside I went up to my room and sat on the ground. "That was so weird." I thought to myself.
