Warmth. That was the first thought that ran through my mind. The second was that I was in a car which was moving. I moved slightly, realizing then that I was on something firm and warm. I open my eyes and see white fabric. I lifted my head slowly and locked eyes with the most beautiful face I have ever seen. His deep brown eyes held somewhat of delight.
"Great to see that you've woken up Kitty Cat." His voice was deep and velvety. A thought struck me... I was cuddling up to this man. My hand was resting low on his stomach. Through the fabric I could feel the warm hardness of his stomach. His arm was loosely wrapped around my waist. His thumb caressed my hip slowly. I shivered. Is this the man that had bought me at the auction?
"Are y-you Alexander Harrison?" My voice seemed to quake. The driver made a soft turn.
"I wish, kitten. I'm Hunter, Alex's good friend." His voice seemed to calm me down. I look at the passing scenery; thick forest surrounded the road. It was silent for a moment except for my fast heartbeat. "Alex never buys on impulse," Hunter says abruptly. I look up at him. "But he bought you on first sight." My mind flickers back to the glass walled cage I was in.
"Didn't he win the auction via a call?"
"Yes, but pictures of you were sent out an hour before you were showcased in that room. You see, Alex needed a new maid but he always usually gets a petite blond. When he told me that he had bought you... I was downright confused."
"Are you saying that I will be a maid for this Alex?"
"No... I don't know what he's going to do with you. Just make sure you do as he says and don't disobey him." The car made an abrupt stop. I look out the car window and saw two very large, elegant doors. How had I not noticed the we were driving up to this huge mansion? The driver opened our door. Hunter carried me out and put me down at the front entry.
"Time to meet Alex." Hunter smiled.
