Lily woke up the next morning feeling a bit confused, she recalled the encounter with the Pettigrew boy last night and that scrunched her face in confusion on how it was so strange, first of all who is the parchment from it could be from Peter but of course she can't be sure the two hardly ever spoken to each other in their time at Hogwarts and besides the fact that his best friend is her enemy, secondly why would Peter or the owner of the parchment want to meet up with her let alone at night

She rise from her bed a lot of questions running through her head the last minutes was a blur, she washed and dressed herself without complaining about anything that it made Evie wonder why but decided to not ask 'she must be feeling down because of the letter from her parents' Evie thought to herself while watching her friend make her way to the Great Hall

The two best friends turned a corner to see a crowd forming around Lily Evans, Severus Snape, James Potter, and group of his friends, James, Sirius and Severus were clearly arguing about something, shouting loudly at each other while Lily and the rest of James' friends are stopping the three from escalating the fight

Instantly Lily Anne rolled her eyes "Why are they fighting so early in the morning." She muttered to Evie who shrugged to focus on the boys fighting as they went closer and closer to the center of the fight

"Everyone here knows how you two are a blood traitor fraternizing with mudbloods." Severus shouted a greasy haired slytherin who the Moore girl hated more than James, gasps can be heard from what the slytherin said even Lily Evans stopped on her track staring directly at her friend Severus

"Before you insult anyone make sure your greasy hair is washed." Lily Anne Moore said gritting her teeth, Evie holding her arm restraining her from pouncing to the slytherin boy

"I don't need your help Moore." James whisper shouted to her, he doesn't want anyone's help especially coming from the girl he hated for years

"I'm not helping you Potter." She said glaring at him "I'm helping myself and any muggle born from someone whose insulting us." She continued now her glare pointing at Severus

"Don't get involved here mudblood." Severus spitted at her, disgusted that someone who's not a pureblood is so close to him, angry by what Severus called her she pushed him to the ground

"That's rich coming from an entitled daft dimwit like you, incase you forget you're a half muggle born too so it's a great insult calling anyone with that slur word to yourself." The Moore girl stated getting angrier with every word she spat at Severus

The Snape boy was more than infuriated at this point he wanted to hex the girl in front of her until she would beg him to stop, he stood back up from the floor fishing his wand out of his pocket ready to hex her but she and Potter was much more quicker than him and hexed him flying down the hallway earning him a broken arm

Professors were rushing to the commotion made by students, discovering that the Snape boy lying on the ground with broken arms, Moore and Potter's wands out answering their question of who injured and used magic in the hallway

"You two in my office now you will have detention and minus a hundred points, i can't believe you caused a fellow student harm." Professor Mcgonagall shouted to the two Gryffindor

Lily Anne's eyes were widening, realizing the consequences of her actions "But professor." She said trying to explain that Snape was the one who's using slur words

"I expected highly of you Miss Moore, i am very disappointed." The professor said shaking her head at the girls, professors ordered students to go to the Great Hall immediately and some to accompany Snape to the Hospital Wing while professor Mcgonagall escorted Lily Anne and James to her office

"You two are six year students and should know what is right and wrong." Professor Mcgonagall said calmly as the two student sat down on some chairs near her desk in her office "You must know that their are consequences of what the two of you have done." She continued, eyeing the two

"Yes professor, i am sorry." Lily said dipping her head down defeated and disappointed in herself

"No,you're not." James blurted out and she furrowed her eyebrows in return "He deserves it and you know it." He said straight into her face, dead serious about it than anything in his life, his eyes staring straight into her eyes making her see her own reflection in his clear eyes

"Speaking out of turn is disrespectful  Mr. Potter don't you think?." Mcgonagall said cutting the two teens' staring contest, Lily had to blink a few times to comprehend what just happened to them or to her while James was back to his mischievous side like nothing had happened

"My apologies professor." He said winking at the professor infront of them, Professor Mcgonagall on the other hand is shaking her head displeased

"As you know I don't tolerate bad behavior and for that you two will be spending your free periods and the weekends in detention with me." The professor said watching the two teens  but mostly James react to their punishment

"But professor i have Quidditch practice every weekends." James said completely horrified that he might miss anything quidditch related while Lily Anne calmly nodded her head understanding that she had injured another student

"This is final mister Potter and you should have thought of that before you attacked another student." Said Mcgonagall with much authority that James can't argue to it  "Now off you go you need to eat breakfast."

The two student left the professor in the office to head off to The Great Hall, for once silence envelop the two
