Lily Moore's first thought about James Potter was he was a crazy, obsessed, arrogant boy but right now all she can think about is how his hazel eyes spoke to her about a minute ago, the two fell silent while walking through the halls, Lily a few steps farther from James to not make it awkward, he is still her nemesis after all

"I'm actually shocked at you for standing up for me Moore." James finally said from behind her

Stopping in her tracks she faced him, eye to eye like he did in their professors workroom she said "Not you Potter, it's for everyone like me a muggle born who can't speak up to the prejudice purebloods and their purity and beliefs." With that she started to walk in the direction of her alchemy classroom not having an appetite for breakfast

Leaving James to be offended by her, judging many good purebloods such as himself

She was the only student to first arrive in the room, most of them is still probably eating at the Great Hall. The moment was peaceful, quiet and calm opposite to her previous interaction with Snape and James.

She has a lot more time to think of all the commotions and bad luck that is happening to her, not to mention her so weirdly fascination to James Pothead Potter's hazel eyes and how he looked at her so deep. She is very puzzled out by the fact that she found his eyes captivating, something is horribly wrong with her right now, she must have gone insane.

While she was spacing out Tim arrived at the classroom spotting his friend she approached her and sat next to her " So, what happen to you? Did professor McGonagall scolded you?" he asked intrigued as to what punishments his bestfriend will get. the girl jump at his sudden appearance but begrudging answered sluggishly "Free period and weekends detention for two weeks."

"Well that suck, I'm sorry you'll have to endure that with Potter boy." he said knowing his friend and Potter can't stand to be in a same room together without bickering resulting into much physical fights that may lead to one of them with a bruise in the eye and the occasional broken nose.

"I just want to jump out the astronomy tower and be done with it, than spen 3 hours a days with Potter." She said banging her head on the table which makes her friend chuckle but tried to stop her from hurting her head "I mean come on professor knows the two of us are like a cat and a dog right, she ought to destroy my days for letting me spend detention with Potter." She said a scowl on her face "Just kidding i love professor McGonagall, now what I don't like is that pothead boy." Sighting she rested her head and tried to sleep on the table of her chair while her friend patted her head as they wait for students to come in and slowly filling up the classroom for their alchemy class.

Lily Anne's class on Potions which she share with none of her friends was boring, she never excelled in potions although she ought to study hard for next year's upcoming N.E.W.T.s

She exited the classroom and started walking as she is headed to professor McGonagall's office to do her detention although she is having second thoughts and just head straight to the astronomy tower and jump off for she is basically doing the same thing spending detention with Potter, and it would be worse with him annoying the Godric's out of her, but she kept walking through the halls hoping for a miracle until she was in front the door to the professor's office not wanting to knock 'well you don't have choice don't ya go on knock' she thought to herself so that's what she did she knocked

Opening the door comes James annoying face Potter with a scowl on his face clearly not wanting to be around her as well, she passed him and sat on one of the chairs closest to the professor's table whose not in the room yet

Ignoring the boy who sat next to her 'he could've just sat anywhere why next to mine' she thought as she rolled her eyes, so to occupy herself she took out a book she's been reading last night to continue it

"What is that?" Potter said annoying her more than before, why is it that it's just little things that make her head boil when Potter does it.

She looked at him and deadpan said "A book."

"I know it's a book I'm not stupid" He grumbles "Clearly you are." She said continuing to read the book

He glares at her "What I meant was what's it about, genius." She sighs "Well it's about this apocalyptic world where a big population of humans die and then the last of the people that does survive have to battle and choose between the light and evil as they build society again and make their stand."

"So does the characters choose the light?" He asked now curious, maybe he should read this book it sounds intriguing enough for him to read

"I don't know that's why I'm still reading it"  Lily Anne said eyeing James up and down, he sounds curious about a book well that's the first, and that was a decent conversation with Potter no nonsense and bickering

"Hmm i should give it a go since I'll be choosing between studying with Moony or Run around with Padfoot." James muttered to himself which made Lily Anne curious who is he talking about

"Oh good you two are here, i am surprised my office seems to be intact." Professor McGonagall said appearing through the door "Well shall we get going to your first stop, the potions room." She said before disappearing out through the door again

The two hurriedly packed their things to follow their professor out

Lily not longer feeling like she's going to die spending her time with James Potter and maybe likewise to his feeling
