Chapter 6

We were all by the car waiting for Patrick. Every once in awhile I would catch Henry taking glimpses at me. Henry scared me the most out of all the boys. There was just something off about him. I heard rustling coming from the woods and out came Patrick. 

"Took you long enough, bitch" Henry spat out. 

"I don't see you putting out the fire, pussy." Patrick shot back. 

Those two were going back and fourth until Belch spoke. 

"Can we just go now?" The two boys glared at each other but nodded in agreement. 

I was following Victor to his side of the car. This seemed to catch Patrick's eye. 

"Hey y/n, come by me." I was going to say something but Victor spoke up first.

"Actually Patrick, she's with me." Victor gave him the side eye while he got into the car. 

Victor grabbed by hand and guided me onto his lap. His legs were spread apart with me sitting in the middle of him. He wrapped one arm around my waist while the other was behind the headrest. I could feel the tension with Patrick glaring daggers at Victor. The car soon started up and Belch drove away. The ride to the arcade was quiet except for Henry and Patrick's occasional bickering. Half way through the ride, Victor laid his head on my shoulder. Of course Patrick saw this and he was fuming. I looked at him and put my hand on his knee in a reassuring way. He put his hand on top of mine. 

Eventually we made it to the arcade. The car was parked in an alleyway. I got out first and then Victor followed. Patrick made his way over to me and slid his arm around my waist. We started walking to the entrance. Henry was in front with Belch, then it was Patrick and me, and finally Victor behind us. As we walked the kids cowered in fear when they saw Henry. He made his way over to one game in specific, street fighter. Playing that game was the loud mouth himself, Richie. He was there with Bill and Eddie. Eddie caught sight of us and tapped Bill on the shoulder pointing to us. Eddie's eyes went wide when he realized that I was with Henry and his gang. Bill was about to wave to me but Eddie stopped him. Henry approached Bill and his friends. 

"What are you idiots doing in MY arcade." Henry glared at all the kids in front of him. 

"I-it isn't y-your ar-cade." Bill retorted. Eddie started freaking out over what Bill said. 

"What did you just say to me little prick." Henry went up to Bill. He grabbed his neck and stared into his eyes. 

I watched as Henry threatened the kids. I knew them somewhat. I couldn't just stand there and do nothing. I glanced over at Patrick. He was smiling. He also seemed to be thinking of helping Henry. I looked at where belch was but he wasn't standing there anymore. Finally Victor was looking at the ground. He didn't seem engaged into what was going on around him. I felt Patrick's arm leave my waist and saw him walking over to Henry. Those poor boys I thought. Maybe I could distract Henry and Patrick. That would give the kids a chance to escape. What can I do to distract both boys. At this point Richie finished his game. Richie was talking trash to Henry and Patrick. Patrick was about to punch Richie until I opened my big mouth. 

"Hey Henry and Patrick! I have a game to play." I smiled at them. This may work. 

Patrick lowered his fist when he heard my voice. Henry loosened his grip on Bill. Bill got out of his grip and backed away. Eddie ran to the door and the other two followed. Henry realized they got away and looked furious. He was pissed at me. Patrick on the other hand just wanted to know what game I suggested. 

"What the actual FUCK y/n! They got away!" Henry spat at me. Patrick didn't seem to like what he said to me.

"Shut up bitch. Let her finish." Patrick glared at Henry. Both boys plus Victor were now looking at me.
