WELCOME HOME

Vegas who is silently taking a roam around the beach resort he and Kinn vacationed, suddenly he stopped when he something caught his attention.

A newcomer who is so loud greeting the two old man and woman, as far as Vegas can remember. The two old people was the owner of the resort they're staying.

Vegas'  narrowed his eyes to clearly see the face of the newcomer, and because of his poor eyesight he can't clearly see the face of that man.

He just sure that the man has a dimple on his cheeks, and has a pale skin.

"Why don't you come near and ask him his name?" Vegas turn to look back and he saw his smiling cousin.

"I don't care who he is" Vegas pretend to look away and sigh.

Kinn just chuckle.

"But your eyes do" Kinn casually said.

"Oh really? Are you an eye doctor or fortune teller?" Vegas sarcastically asked raising his eyebrow with his intimidating face.

"C'mon bro! stop being like that, that's why you're not having lover" Kinn lazily said.

"Lover your ass, I'm dying idiot!" The last thing bible said before he walk pass by Kinn tapping his cousin's s shoulder.

Kinn can only shrugged it off and follow Vegas towards their cottage.

With so much joy and happiness, I half run and half walk the time I get off the speed boat.

I finally arrived at my home town, my literally home. I smile widely as I saw my grandparents standing beside the huge coconut tree waiting for me.

"Grandma, Grandpa!" I called them as I run closer to their direction.

"Our baby! We miss you" My grandma pulled me into hug and I did the same.

"It's been two years since the last time you visited us here" Grandpa jokingly pouted.

"I'm sorry grandpa, you know how hard to travel from the city to here..." I apologize then pout too.

"Aw, you don't need to... how can we be sulk to you when you're there to save lives and help people" Grandma said and eventually smile.

We all nodded and hugs each other because of missing and longing.

"Oi give me your bags, let's go inside we have a surprise for you" Grandma reached my bag and I only gave him the shoulder bag since it's not that heavy.

"What surprise? Wedding is not waiting for me there, right?" I look the both of them and blink twice in a second.

"Oi silly kid! Of course not!" Grandma lightly smack my forehead.

The three of us laugh together as we're making our step inside. As we walk I saw someone not so far from us, two man standing there but one of them turn his back that I didn't see his face. The one man who has a thick eyebrows is shaking his head while smiling.

I just look away, maybe just a random tourists.

We entered the lodge house, and there the people from my island are here to meet me. They prepared a kamayan

[ To all who wondered what is kamayan, it is communal-style buffet of delicious Filipino food: it features seafood, grilled meats, vegetables and garlic rice served on fresh (or frozen and thawed) banana leaves. I know they're in Thailand but I just want to feature this traditional buffet style of Filipino hehe ]
