Hey guysss I am back with another update. I will not upload daily as I have college and cs both to study so I don't have enough time to upload daily but I will try to upload on alternative days. Thank you so much for all the love you guys have given to this book its my first book that's why it is very close to my heart and getting so much love and support really overwhelms me. Author's POV
Manik was driving the car and Nandini was sitting absently without any emotions and she didn't said anything till now. Manik was giving her time to recover before discussing anything as he was scared how much it had scarred her heart and mind. They were driving aimlessly then manik got an idea of a place where Nandini will become peaceful and happy to be there. So, he started driving there and when they reached there he said, "Nandu I wanted to give you a surprise on your birthday by taking you here but I think this time is better. I found this place recently which gives the vibes of your hometown so I thought to give you a surprise on your birthday here."
Nandini was just staring ahead without speaking anything so manik went to touch her hand but she jolted her hands away and said, "No, manik don't touch me I am impure, dirty and not deserving your touch.", she was crying saying this but manik immediately pulled her in a hug and said, "No, nandu you are the most pure, lovely and beautiful girl of the world. You are the only one who deserves me the most and all the love of this world. Noone can ever make you dirty because of your purity I promise I am never going to leave you for any reason."
Nandu was still trying to free herself from the hug but manik was not letting her go so she stopped and started screaming and crying like a baby in his arms.
"Manik I was so scared when harshad was taking my clothes off I was scared you will be shattered seeing me like that I was scared they will kill me in order to harm you because they know I am your life and you will die without me knowing you were the reason they did that to me." she was blabbering at this level so manik just kissed her and silenced her. At first Nandini was shocked but then she gave up and started kissing back. The kiss was full of love, care and pain they had experienced while they were apart. After sometime both separated because of the lack of oxygen and manik said, "Don't be scared and don't think about them now. I am here to save you from any problem in the world so don't worry."
Then they came out of the car and Nandini noticed the fireflies that were slowing in the night and she turned to see manik and said, "Manik you searched this place for me? I am so happy you know I lost believe in fireflies after I came here because I thought that fireflies are not always right because I was separated from my true love but now I believe that no matter how many problems are there but if the love is true then it will come back to you later than never right."
"Yes you are right nandu. I know I was the one who hurt you the most not once but many times but I am not going to keep hurting you now. I will never prioritise anyone or anything above you I will always try my best at keeping you happy. Will you marry me nandu? Will you stay with your monster forever because there is no one who can handle this majnu rather than you?"
Nandu was shocked will be an understatement but she was more happy then shocked she bent down and said with tears in her eyes, "Yes manik YES!! I will marry you because there is no opne in this world I would rather be with other than you."
They both were crying and then manik kissed her deeply and passionately till they both were breathless and then manik made her wear ring and they hugged each other.
Suddenly manik's phone started ringing and he saw it was sid so he picked up the call:
Sid(S): Hello, Manik how is princess and where are you guys?
Manik(M): Bhai nandu is fine now and we are at the outskirts of the city.
S: That's a relief. Come back home soon ladies are worried and crying from that time come back so that they can calm down.
M: Ok bhai we are coming now only.
Call ended.
"It was sid bhai and he has asked us to come back soon as the ladies are crying continuously, so let's to home and give them this good news." Manik said giving a peck on nandu's lips.
"Ok let's get going we almost forgot about them." nandu said shyly and went towards the car.
At Murthy Mansion
Shehnaaz, Zoya and Jasmine were crying and the boys were trying their best to console them but they were not stopping. Cabir, Mukti and Navya went back to hotel as they knew manik will be angry if he sees them once he comes back.
Manik and nandu entered the mansion and the ladies ran to nandu and hugged her tightly then adi, sid and abhi joined them for a family hug then sid pulled manik too into the hug.
After hugging for some time adi said, "Ok let's separate I don't think nandu is able to breathe and I don't want her to die suffocated." to make the mood lighter but was smacked on the head by sid.
Everyone separated and sat down with nandu in sid's lap who was caressing her head and shehnaaz brought her glass of water to calm her down. After some talking everyone decided to call it a night and everyone went to their room. Manik was carrying nandu bridal style and reached her room then they both took a shower and manik helped nandu relax and changed her in comfortable pyjamas and they slept hugging each other with nandu's head on manik's chest hearing his heartbeats which were lullaby to her.
