When nandini saw the person enter the room she was shocked and angry beyond comprehensible as it was none other than Nyonika, manik’s mom. She was suppressing her anger on seeing the person who made manik’s life hell since childhood and didn’t let him get close to his father and also slept with one of his friend turned enemy, Harshad.
She was not able to control his anger and called her secretary and said, “I want you to throw this lady from my office right this second. And who the hell let her inside this building.”
“Ma’am, she does not budge even after waiting for 3 hours and was very persistent on meeting you. I tried to warn you but did not get the time.” Her secretary replied meekly knowing nandu’s anger very well.
“I am here to discuss something with you nandini please just listen to me once and then I will leave without any trouble to anyone.” Nyonika said.
“I don’t think we have anything left to discuss please leave.” Nandini replied sitting comfortably on her chair.
“After manik came here and learnt about you and bonded with his father, his father stopped sending the money he has been sending me for manik and I am left alone by both. I can’t reach any of them. I need your help to reach and pacify them.” Nyonika pleaded.
Nandini was shocked to see how low a person could stoop just for money she came to her whom she never liked and always wanted her to stay away from manik. She tried every possible way to make them hate each other.
“I don’t think you have come to the right person. I am not going to bring you back in his life and torture him again. Don’t you think you stooped too low to come to a lowly person like me to get money.” Nandu said.
“I am sorry for everything I did in past with you I didn’t know that you were related to such a big family name and also such a talented fashion influencer. Please forgive me and I will accept you as my daughter-in-law.” Nyonika tried but it fell to deaf ears as nandini started laughing loudly.
“You still think that manik or me need your approval to stay together. We are already together and will always be you cant do anything now except sit and watch.” She said after a while.
“I will not let that happen in this life if you don’t agree with me to make me meet him.” Nyonika said confidently.
“Oh is that true, Ms. Nyonika?” came a voice from behind. Nyonika turned to find Shrikant Malhotra standing with few papers in his hand. She was shocked but composed herself quickly and went to hug him but he refused and came to nandini.
“You think you can harass my princess and I am going to stand here.” He said while hugging nandini.
“I wasn’t harassing her I just wanted to meet my family but she refused saying that manik was just hers and she wouldn’t let him meet me.” Nyonika said with fake tears in her eyes.
“But, that’s not what I heard when I came to meet her and heard you threatning not to accept her as your daughter-in-law.” Shrikant said as he was standing behind the door from the time nyonika entered the cabin.
“I really want to make our family whole like in past. I know I made a lot of mistakes in past but now I want to correct them and start afresh. Please give me last chance.” She pleaded to Shrikant but he didn’t give heed to her.
He said, “Nandini I came here to tell you that there is party at home tonight so I am here to invite you personally and also meet you for lunch.”
“Sure, dada I will come to both. Let’s go anyways my head is killing me from all the nonsense happened today.” Nandu replied with a smile.
They left and nyonika was left seething at her plan being failed and being ignored by them like she didn’t exist.

When manik saw the person in the lobby he was angry but decided to ignore him and was on his way but the person spotted him and said, “Manik, I need to talk to you. Its really urgent please wait.”
“I don’t think we have anything left to talk about, Cabir. I think I asked you guys to go back a long time ago. Why are you even here right now.” Manik said annoyed at his former best friend.
“I just need to talk to you for 10 minutes please.” Cabir pleaded. Manik thought for few seconds and asked him to follow him to his car.
After they settled down in the car manik asked, “what is so urgent that you have to talk right now?”
“Manik I know you hate me but please just listen to everything I have to say then you can decide what you want to do.” Cabir paused and then continued, “ manik I was on my way to the airport with navya when a video popped on my screen showing the incident that happened on Abhi’s haldi with nandu and I found something weird as why anyone was sending me this video but then I noticed that someone I knew was in that video too.” Cabir paused again for manik to register everything.
“Who was it? Why are you telling me this I am not interested who was part of the plan and not. Everything is over now and my nandini is safe and the person behind this is in jail.” Manik said .
“It was Raghav. Do you remember the professor I was in love with during our college?” cabir said with tears as he remembered what had happened at that time.
Manik was shocked hearing this as he never expected Raghav to turn up like this. “So what are you saying that he was a part of alya and dhruv’s plan?” he inquired.
“Not only that there was a message with the video that, “You have got the wrong person behind the bars.” I think they meant Raghav was the mastermind and he is still out there making plans to harm nandini.” Cabir clarified.
“But why would he do that to her. She never did anything to you or him.” Manik was confused.
“I think he blames you for getting exposed like that at musicana and wants to take revenge by harming nandini.” Cabir replied.
“You are right nandini is still in danger. I shouldn’t have left her alone after all that happened.” Manik said and started the car towards nandini’s office.
Cabir was happy that his bestfriend was back but he wasn’t sure that if he was going to forgive him for everything he did in the past or not.
