4: Our first night together

•Aaron's POV•

I woke up pretty early. Aphmau was still fast aleep and I was on the floor. I had gotten her some flowers, the same ones I had gotten her in high school. I could hear some footsteps and whispering coming from outside the door.

I head out into the hallway to see who is there and I see mom, dad and Melissa.

"What are you guys doing?" I asked them making them all turn around to face me.

"Oh, Aaron..." Dad says in a surprised tone.

"Were you planning on giving me them flowers to give to Aph?"

"Oh he totally was" Mom said.

"Y-yeah but we stopped him!" Melissa added.

"Well thanks but I've already got her some flowers"

"What, I- Ugh!" Dad says annoyed.

"Come on dear, we'll make you pancakes" Mom says leading dad to the kitchen.

"Better be good pancakes for putting up with this" he mumbles.

"Soooooo~ how was your first night back with your girlfriend?" Melissa said walking closer to me.

"I slept on the floor"

"Ooooo you to- wait, what..."

"It is our first night together in a year, don't forget"

"I know, I know, which is why I thought you two would have been a bit more exiting"

"Well then keep dreaming"

After that she just walked off in defeat. I went back into the bedroom to Aphmau waking up.

"Hey Aph, did you sleep well"

"Yes" she said still sleepy "you didn't have to sleep on the floor"

"No no, it was fine, plus I got to hold your hand"

She yawns again and rubs her eyes getting out of bed.

"Oh, I got you these" I hand her a bouquet of white flowers.

"Aaron they're beautiful. Wait are these the same flowers that you gave me in high school?"

"Yes, they are"

"Thank you"

"Now come on, let's go and get breakfast"

"Oooo breakfast. Let's go!" She says whilst running down stairs.

"Aph wait up!" I shouted after her.

When we get into the sitting area at the front of the house we see Blaze and the pups.

"Blaze, Dottie, Rylan, Daniel!" I say suprised.

"Wait, uuuuu now it really feels like high school..." Aphmau says. She's not wrong tho, this does feel like high school.

"Ah, right, Aphmau, we asked some werewolves that Aaron knew from high school to come here and help with Aaron's physical therapy" Dad tells Aphmau.

"Yeah, Mr Lycan just calls and says: Hey, come chill with Aaron, and we're like: Sure" Blaze also tells Aph.

"Well why don't you pups go to the beach and play catch" Mom says.

"Did she say catch?!" Daniel said.

"Let's go!" Dottie said in her usual cheerful tone.

"I'm down, Aph, you coming?"

"Yeah!"

"Yeah, yeah, just go so I can eat my pancakes." Dad says annoyed.

"Hm, hey guys, where's Maria?" I ask whilst walking to the beach.

"Oh right, she slept in, she is on her way now" Rylan explains.

"Oh okay, now who has the ball?"

Omg, it has been so long since I've updated one of my books! I had started writing this chapter a while ago but never finished so I decided why not finish it. Also because it was started a while ago I can't remember what I was going to do for this chapter but yeah. Anyway hope you liked it
